eBay asking for extra info: what course of action do I take?

I made a stealth eBay account & PayPal both same info (⊗⊗⊗⊗ info/variation of my real name) I let the eBay account & PayPal sit for about 2 months.

I recently posted up a pair of shoes I had 200-300$ (first item/had bought about 500$ worth of stuff for feedback) range and right as the listing was going to end, about 24hours prior to ending, I get a MC999 saying they have restricted my limits and want me to request higher. Since the address is a variation/close to mines they couldn't pull up public records & asked me to send in documents. I have an ID pic / utility bill but will this unlimit me? I REALLY want to sell and I understand the IP/cookies/etc how they track yet this isn't telling me they linked me.

Any tips?
After reviewing your account, we've made the decision to restrict your ability to sell until you provide us with additional information. There are 2 ways that you can do this--through My eBay or the next time you sell.

To start the process through My eBay:
1. Click "My eBay" at the top of most eBay pages. You may need to sign in.
2. Select the "All Selling" option in the "Sell" section on the left side of the page (or in the "Selling Manager Summary").
3. Click the "Request higher selling limits" link in the monthly selling limits section.
You made a mistake to sell a 200 dollar item as your first item you tried to sell..

honestly, you do not want the first item you sell to be more than 20-30 usd .. anymore and you are a liability for ebay so they will ask for more verification.

this account is toast. you will need to learn more about the stealth method. good luck.

You can't list expensive items as your first items. Start with small items.

I got one it took a month for them to look at the driver licence and utility bill I sent in immediately , I think whoever gets this mc999 they are told to make u wait and for the ones that kept calling in for a month they finally lifted restriction and I got nice limits and was able to list freely so I called in would be holding in the phone maybe 2-3 hrs twice a week for 4 weeks just being transferred until we got disconnected basically but it was worth it , I just called and put the phone on speaker and did my work , and got a nice account out if the wait

account isn't toast. if you can provide it creatively then you're fine.
Personally, I would just make another account if it doesn't hold any value to me.

Start small and go big after, I suggest start from scratch again and do it better this time. slow to big with more than 1 account
