Smile There is Hope for Reinstatements

Hi. I have been reading all of these wonderful Posts in the last 6 days. I was suspended for a Vero listing-I still don't know what I did wrong with a particular listing I had on there. I am a Powerseller with Close to 19,000 Feedback Ratings. Talk about frustration when my whole store was shut down-1000 Items Lost! I even 'tried' to open up another account in my Husbands name when this happened and within 1 Hour, I was shut down. I was stupid and used the same IP and an old email address, that I had on my good account.
Anyway, I sent Emails every single day to Ebay and sent in all the Reinstatement Documents two times. I also sent a very detailed Letter to BillCobb@Ebay.Com. Today, I was reinstated. Please try this first before going through all of the other things to create a whole new account. After reading so many postings regarding suspensions, I did not think I would ever get my Account back. Now, I just need to be very careful with what I list. Good Luck!

Nothappywithebay - I am happy for you today ,
keep us posted in the future with your reinstated account.

Is everybody had it backward dealing with wrong department ?
all along everyone has “suspended for Vero listing - still don't know what did wrong”
should have sent a very “detailed Letter” to (BillCobb@Ebay.Com),
try this first and let aspkin’s “eBay Suspension Forum” know what happen.

Nothappywithebay - will you share your experience of your “detailed Letter” with us?
For which you’d stated “I was suspended for a Vero listing-
I still don't know what I did wrong with a particular listing I had on there.”

Good job NotHappyWithEbay! Just make sure you don't get suspended again! VeRO's suspensions are extremely easy to get. Which ever item gave you that suspension; you should avoid it like the black plague!

did you get suspended, then reinstated after 7-9 days or so? If so, I believe that this is your standard reinstatement after FIRST suspension for VeRO. I had same thing before, on a BIG PS account with 15,000+ FBs. I was reinstated on around the 10th day, after sending few emails in. i did not send big long letters to Bill Cobb.

I believe that its not because you send in so many letters, but rather its due process at eBay. I was told that there were different kinds of indefinite suspensions.. first one is usually 5-7 days. And as long as you send in request after this period, they will reinstate you after you FAX in some documents and the Request for Reinstatement Forms. However, I think they only do that so they can permanently suspend you soon afterward, and you will have not much to say about it.. like an e-vil-Bay way of saying "...i told you so....., i gave you a chance and you didn't listen...." nasty, i know, and i really hope they won't do this to you. but just keep that in mind if you plan on continuing with selling the same things.. in any event, i STRONGLY suggest get your own website going RIGHT NOW, and also make some backup IDs using the strategies listed on this forum, especially if you depend on this business financially..... just my 2 cents:o

Van Player - you are right, eBay doesn't really care about anyone or anyone’s problem.

Nothappywithebay - Was your Verified Rights Owner “VeRO” contacted and “VeRO“ issue resolved?

save all the emails relate to this issue. maintain a paper trail .
This avoids a "He said, she said" perplexity later.
When it's in writing ebay cannot restructure the facts
to granted you permission to relist.

Was this the second reinstatement email which you had fax in your second Documents to?

Hi,

Thank you for inquiring about your eBay suspension.

Your eBay registration has been suspended indefinitely with no plans for reinstatement. We have taken these steps because you violated the terms of your reinstatement agreement. We previously reinstated your account when you provided us with a statement, signed under penalty of perjury, promising you would not list any potentially infringing or illegal items on eBay.

You also agreed to abide by our other policies and guidelines and agreed that: "any breach of this agreement or future policy violations may lead to the indefinite suspension of your eBay account..."Because you have continued to list potentially infringing items on eBay, we had no choice but to suspend your account indefinitely with no plans for reinstatement.

Please be aware that you are prohibited from registering under a new account name or using eBay in any way. Also, eBay reserves the right to suspend accounts registered by anyone in the same household of a suspended member, or by any other associates of a suspended member.

If you feel we have made an error you may appeal by replying to this message. Please be aware that unless your appeal meets the following criteria you may not receive a response.

- This is the first time your registration has been suspended

- Your suspension is partially due to VeRO removals and the VeRO Program participant has granted you permission to relist your item

- eBay has granted you permission to relist any items that were judged to violate our potentially infringing items guidelines

Default just had 4 new accounts suspened , then brought back!

woke up today to fine 4 brand new eba accounts suspened, got the mc999 emails saying to call ebay to verify my account within 48hrs.
so i called using skype on all of them, mostly sellimg used video games and electronics, listed 10 items on each account right away, so i guess thats my fault.
i ususally just leave tet my accounts go if this happens, butni decided to call and they just asked me my addrss, previous address and i was reinstated, very easy.

i looked up a houses for sale in random states amd gave them some random address.
some of the ebay reps didnt even ask anything they just reinstated me.

too easy.
hopefully they last.

Good work man. Sometimes it's that easy when you get a good rep.

Best of luck.
