Hello Board... a few questions about the stealth report

Hi all, I have just read the e-book and for the most part it seems well written. I just have a few questions if someone could help me:

1) I see that the author recommends Auctiva.. I use Vendio.. wouldn't they work in the same way with the same benefits? I do not believe they share info with ebay right?

2) VPN- if I get the cloak box from WiTopia does this mean eBay can no longer track my IP address? Or does it mean that I have a tool to switch my IP address at will? Please I need some clarification on this point as I would need to use my office computers without worrying about linking.

3)Paypal- you can create a paypal address in a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name with a giftcard then supply a bank account with your name that paypal wont see right? Please can you clarify this? Do the gift cards have the security code on the back? Do you need a security code?

4) Merchant account- would it really work to just fax ebay my merchant account statement with another name doctored on to it through photoshop and the account number scratcched out? Or is it a better idea to start a new account with the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name on it and different bank account?

5) Paypal vs Merchant- It seems that from the provided information that paypal would actually be easier to use. I do not plan on selling knockoffs or anything fraudulent... I am a legit ebay seller that was fried due to a warehouse snafu so I don't really plan on raising any eyebrows... So it is my inclination to think that a paypal account that is emptied every day would be the best way to go.

Many Thanks for your help,
NOOOB

Try some Google searching of the aspkin forum:
1) site:aspkin.com vendio
2) site:aspkin.com witopia
3) Banks don't usually share the name on the account - only the account number and sort code. I have read of some instances where deposits into a bank account did not go through due (possibly) to a name mis-match. If you use a relatives name (who has not or will not be using PP/eBay), you can get a joint account - if you trust them.
I can't answer 4 or 5. You'd be better off reading the sections of the forum dedicated to those areas and post your questions there.

1) Last I heard they do not share info with eBay.

2) A VPN puts you on a new network with a different IP address. Make sure before you use this for eBay that your IP Address is indeed different, go to IP Burger - What is my IP Address? Find Your IP Address! to check your ip address.

3) What you read in the book is correct about this one, I won't repeat it but it's correct.

4) Not to sure what you second question is, but with your first question again this has been proven to work.

5) It could be easier, if you're not a hardcore seller you shouldn't have an issue, but if you sale a lot maybe merchant account will be better for you.

so i have to open a new paypal account (name, adress, etc not mine) with a gifcard, but i don get if i need to add a bank account or not. Also if i add one i have to put my real info or just the same ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one, and then i have to close the bank account ? if i close it how can i cash out? may ask the paypal debit card? u know if i go to the post office and fill out the form for change adresss, the keep send all mails to the "new" asdress for 1 year
sorry first time, im no smart as u on this things
thanks

theres to much talk about these things on the forum...sooner or later if it hasent already happened....ebay will make a new system to catch up to stealth users.....this forum should be limited on who to trust out here....

im pretty sure ebay and paypal has workers that log in this website to sniff on some inside info that we use to beat there system to make them smarter....something to consider...

Yea but this has already been talked about. PayPal & ebay will end up shooting themselves in the foot by trying to outdue the stealth rules. They are already way behind. The big problem is people trying to do too much right away and then people think ebay knows something. But if they keep having the same problems eventually they will have to fix it for obvious reasons. Remember when the scammers could see who bidded on an item and would email them lol.
