Ebay account permanent selling restriction suddenly lifted????
 

A while back when my ebay account got suspended, my room mate's account also got hit but they told him that he could still buy on ebay but never ever be able to sell again! I know this was because we used the same wifi...

So fast forward a year and half since he moved back to his mom's house, today I get a message from him saying that he noticed that his ebay account has a 10/500 limit on it now!

How is this so? I told him not to list anything until I found out from here! Is he ok to start selling or not?

the best thing to do is to create a new ebay account. you wont have to go through the same headache again. never connect to the old account or paypal either and always go stealth.

In all probability as soon as he tries to list anything he will get a message saying that his account is restricted from selling.

I'm speaking from personal experience here. Tried it on an old account that had been restricted about two years ago.

The listing allowance is a 'red herring" it's just a system glitch on e/b
