Hi, All;
I followed the way to create another ebay account in the school library, because I didn't find a good way to change my ip now.

Everything works fine in paypal and eBay, and then I list 10 items in the ebay to sell, just half hours, I received the message from ebay said my account is restrict, I need to contact them to re-open.

Can anyone tell me what did I do wrong?

You are using a Public IP from LIBRARY ...many people LIKELY have already used this...big fail :(

Dont do stealth there - get your own IP....now what else are you doing to make sure stealth method is followed?

How long after you created the account did your start selling items? Usually you should bulid up your browsing history then after 3 to 4 weeks list one small priced item, then take it slowly from there. You have to take it slow when starting your Stealth account.

so you mean I need to get another ip to do at home right?

you may be right, because I create another one in other location, everything works fine,

I have one more questions, if I create lots of accounts, and selling the same products, do you think I may have problems?

Yeah that might also be a reason why it went down, you cant start listing that fast. Also on this forumn is a good little thing called the search button, Can help alot when you are first starting out. YOur two mistakes have been discussed numerous times on this board. DOnt give up though cause it really does work once you get it all down together

That's great, I have one more question, do you think apply personal account or business account when I register in the ebay

Yes - possibly...eB can link via same stuff sold - you would need to make sure listings are different, photos are different, patterns are different!

If you sell high risk stuff...well...that's another problem of itself.

Two factors that may have caused this are the following:

the Library IP may have been over-used and is not suitable.

10 items is a lot to list on a brand new account.

Was the notice MC999?

Could you tell me about your IP at home and how you made your account.
Interested to know about paypal for starters.

Once we get more info, we can help you find solutions to make stealth accounts.

would home&garden--tools category be safe for the first listing. I was thinking about listing a few generic mini screw drivers set.

generic and cheap are the ideal things to sell on ebay for your first couple of items
