MC999 and call forwarding issue - now what?
 

I had to verify my stealth account today due to a MC999 again and I went thru the entire process with ebay on the phone only to find out the forwarding service did not work.

Now what do I do? Is this money down the drain and a lost account?

Well first time I got hit I was told part of it had to do with my browsing history (???) I was just browsing regular low price items 2 to 3 items a day... never understood that one.

The 2nd time they told me it was because because of my Paypal. Got that resolved after a few calls to them, yes a few calls :o

Wow this has been a journey and a learning experience.

They know which call forwarding numbers/services are which.

Its best to get a new cheap cell phone before proceeding.

THANKS! I should have never trusted the seller to begin with and his forwarding service thats included in the deal. Should have known what to expect from a $85 deal.

No problem and good luck.

But do not give up on the seller or even future sellers. They honestly might not have been aware of the current call forwarding situation.

It was a hit or miss this time last month with the MC999. Now its pretty much instant kill on an account.

In the future if you do choose to purchase accounts, try to make the seller aware of your CF concerns.

I wouldn't blame the seller, forwarding services were the norm until very recently.

what call forwaring service you using when i open a new account i always get hit with a mc999 where i have to call an they ask where i get my items how i plan to ship etc. i use GV when i call an never had a issue

Best to get a AT&T go phone or trac phone for $7.99 , there's always a sale at bestbuy or walmart somewhere and u can stock up on phones
