Suspended because of digital items
 

I was selling game download keys on eBay and got suspended due to customers complaining about getting no DVD. This was despite the listing clearly stating so!

I was dealing with all disputes and most customers where apologizing for not reading the listing properly.

As we all know, some disputes do not get closed by the seller as soon as they realize they have their product. Eventually the number of disputes rose to a high enough level that eBay suspended me until they where all resolved. This took over a month waiting for them to auto time out.

Also, eBay cancelled all my listings and sent a message to all my customers stating so. Many of my customers then put in a claim for a refund. It made my business shrinkage rise through the roof!

I went from earning £50-100 a day to absolutely nothing. :confused:

:argue: eBay's response was "We acknowledge that it's not your fault but we have to follow procedure."

:argue: My response: "Was there anything wrong with my listings or how I communicated with my customers?"

:argue: eBay: "No"

:argue: So I am left thinking: "WTF! lol"

This also lead to problems with PayPal being limited due to the amount of refunds enforced by eBay. I recently moved to Brazil (unfortunate timing as it's not easy for me to re acquire proof of address)

I currently have over £200 just sitting in my PayPal with no way to access it (that I know of).

Since then, my eBay is open for selling again but not after I pay off some fees. The money to pay these fees off in in my limited PayPal account. Oh the irony!

And that's why I am here. Now looking for ways to get going again!

I bought the eBay Stealth guide yesterday and am excited to get going again! :-D

I am making multiple OS accounts as recommended.

I do have a question though... I don't want the have to reset my router every time I log into a different OS and eBay account.

Is there a way to secure a static IP from my location (Brazil) for each user. I looked into various VPN's last night but the ones I found offered random IP's that could be repeated (out of 250). I fear that this may eventually link some of my accounts together.

It's important for me to create many accounts, mainly due to trying to get my selling volumes back up. Before my suspension I was selling up to 15 per day and earning about £5 on each item. I would need MANY stealth accounts to compete with that! lol

Any and all feedback will be greatly appreciated! :D

If you want to appear in a different country then VPS, if your happy to sell domestically then dongles are a good method.

Just a word to the wise, EB and PP are know to have issues with the sort of items you are selling.

Hey buddy I'm in a same situation, I moved to brasil but it seems IPS take eternity to change in here. Did you get the things sorted out?

Digital items aren't really all that supported through eBay on selling. Then paypal all they care about is a tracking number. So even if people were happy with their purchase, 1. A buyer can easy get their money back through paypal if they wanted to, just have to open a case. 2. They don't release the funds quick unless it has a tracking number.

At least in the US, you are simply not allowed to sell these items. It is against their policies
