Warning: your ebay account will be suspended if you change paypal email
 

I accidentally attached a paypal to ebay which had different address than that registered on ebay. So i tought it would be good idea to login to ebay and change paypal email to one which has SAME address as that on ebay.

Next thing i know, instantly i got MC999 suspension the same minute i changed paypal email.

I call ebay they say account was reviewed then banned so cant be reinstated, they say it wasnt a robot. They say robot never bans ebay accounts. BUT THAT IS BS !!!!!


Definately was a robot as was banned instantly as soon as i changed my paypal email.

Most limitations on e/b are as a result of bots identifying a preset criteria

The limitation is automatically triggered by the bots not humans. They do not have enough staff to monitor every single account on a continuous basis.

Human initiated limitations are normally the result of a manual review of accounts.

Fast banning tends to be by bots/automated. Changing ANY registration info can be a risk flag.

the bots are almost instant, imagine the bots as programs that see any changes as a risk and immediately look at your account

Should I ask why you managed to attach an email with a linkable address?

Its definitely bots.. i made my 10th steath account like two weeks ago an just the other day i went to list an item within 15 minutes i was hit with the MC999 wanted me to call within 48 hours when i called the lady i spoke to she told me when a new account list something there system looks at it as a virus an an there system is like a virus protection an stops it
