Items still listed after 3 days: all OK or could ban happen
 

Listed new items. Has been 3 days and has not yet been removed. Should I take it as account is safe in terms of this:

if i sell item will i be fine. or will i be banned after that?

Nothing is ever totally 'safe' on eBay.

There is no yes or no answer to that.

Are you selling Vero/Branded items or just generic items?

they can ban you whenever they want.

Sometimes at the start, sometimes during the listing.

BUT they have another evil trick. Some sellers have been banned when completed listings get looked at & buyers get refunded. They can go back 90 days to do that.

Your questions are not usual.
Are you simply worried about being banned or is something else happening?

Items can be removed upto 90 days after the listing having ended.

Generally so long as your item is non branded and non vero then your auction should be fine.

Never any definites with eBay though

Roberto, nobody has the answer for that.
Ban could happen any time.

If you are selling a spoon obviously you are not worried for the item itself but for the account.

You account may have already rose a flag for some reason (you wouldn't be worried otherwise, rigth?) and a review could happen in the next hour or in the next few weeks... who knows.

Stay close to the sstealth rules as much as you can and you will be fine.

what about this question:

in general do ebay ban after an item has been sold. or if they wanted to ban do they do it before item sold?

It does not matter how many times you ask the question, the answer remains the same.

They can do it BEFORE or AFTER (upto 90 days after) the item sells.

ok so i sold the item. now waiting 3-5 days to see if they ban or not before i list different items.

i suspect if ebay wanted to ban me they would ban me even before item sold. but i will find out for myself from first hand experience if thats teh case and respond here

If you list too fast, you will possibly be limited. ( on a new account )

Wait for the tracking # to show delivered or even better to wait for the Positive Feedback.
and then list the new item.

Again, eBay can go back upto 90 days from the day the item sold. Not just 3-5 days

If your item really is just a generic steel spoon your fine.

If its branded or vero, you may well not be in the long term

Keep in mind every account differs.

Now your main problem is buyers.

Go slowly.

Never trust ebay/paypal.

That's right Greenie! There are no definites when it comes to eBay and PayPal.
