| ex-ebayer | 09-08-2008 01:55 PM | Indefinite Suspension - is there a chance for reinstatement? Does indefinate supension mean that I would never be able to return to ebay as a seller or buyer? Also if I cann't sell anymore why cann't I just be a buyer instead. Is there away to do that? |
boosters | 09-08-2008 01:58 PM | Today i also indefinitely suspended from ebay min 12 month. So now i am trying to open a new account just buy a book and check your luck.
Yes, you never able to return to your suspended ebay account. You just need to open a new account. Good Luck. |
ParkAvenueChic | 09-08-2008 02:01 PM | They are on a roll with that. They are "indefinitely" suspending everyone. |
ParkAvenueChic | 09-08-2008 02:09 PM | Modee,
I thought once its indefinite there is no chance to get that account back? Is that not true? |
ParkAvenueChic | 09-08-2008 02:16 PM | When you say alternatives are these alternatives referring to getting your exact same account back? or you just mean creating a new one? |
POSHY | 09-08-2008 03:26 PM | How does Ebay verify if a VERO member is the legit owner of rights??? Do they verify that??? |
digitaliz | 09-08-2008 04:13 PM | A while back I had my real account indefinitely suspended and was told it was a minimum 12 months suspension. Now when this account went down I owed ebay some fees which I didn't pay, a couple of months later I wrote to ebay and asked them if they would consider reinstating my account if I paid my fees, I also sold them a sob story about how I had learned my lesson and wouldn't break vero rules again, and it worked, they agreed to reinstate my account if I paid my fees and sent them a signed statement saying I wouldn't infringe vero copyrights again. |

Hi digitaliz,
Lucky man!
How much were the fees?
Did you contact eBay - send a email, fax, or letter? |
digitaliz | 09-16-2008 07:23 AM | No I didn't contact them, infact ebay passed my account arrears onto a debt collection agency, and as the account was in my real name and address I was going to pay the fees anyway, so I figured might as well try and get the account reinstated as well and just so happened, that it worked. |

Thanks for the speedy reply.
The letter that you sent to eBay that resulted in your reinstatement - how did you send it?
Was it by email, fax, or post?
If it was by post, did you do anything extra (like send it recorded or by FedEx)? |
ambercolour | 09-17-2008 04:49 PM | One of my accounts was indefinite suspended however they didnt actually state "not registered seller". Just blocked the account from selling, however I paid the fees. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:55 AM. | |
