I owe eBay $1800, $400 of that is to reimburse buyers for packages that were never shipped. Is it worth paying them?

I have 1 stealth going strong, only can sell 100 items per month, such a pain & it took a year to get up to 100 items per month. I had 8 other stealts, but they were shut down about 8 mos ago, all on the same day, so I was linked somehow.

But I'm really skeptical about paying ebay, mainly because I have no idea if they'll reinstate & will I have my old selling limits?

Or will I have to start all over again? So many questions.

well you used the service and you owe them the money, only you can judge if doing the right thing is paying the money you owe and then hoping for the best with regards to your account

In my opinion this is just another "ethical" question.

If your others 8 accounts were linked there is quite a chance that also this account will not last much if you still do not know the reason that linked you.

The example you are proposing is talking about a debt to EB of 180$ which is 10 times less then yours. I guess the y will try to get their money back somehow.

I would personally pay my due fees and start from scratch to be safe.

You owe them the money, so really you should pay regardless.

You used their services. They will try to get what is owed to them back

What skepticism? You used eB - made sales - you pay the fees involved. Anything else is fraudulent behaviour...not condoned by the site

This is the kind of shenanigans that give Ebay sellers a bad name and worst stealth a bad name.

You owe $400 worth of merchandise you never shipped? Sorry but you a scammer and no better than the buyer scammers.

Oh I'm sorry I didn't know I was subscribed to the judgemental forum, but for your information I'm no scammer, my account was active for over 6 years. My ex husband went crazy & his usual threats actually turned physical, he was arrested & I sent to the hospital, after losing my marriage of 8 years, dream home & dream life I had a mental break down and was hospitalized for 3 months, even forcing my kids to live with relatives.

So I'm sorry some people didn't receive their packages, I was busy trying to survive & recover. I'm just getting back on my feet & in a position where I may can pay the debt, but being a single mom its hard, which was why stealth was my initial option.

So please if you don't know what people have gone through, don't name call, that account had over 5k feedback, so scammer, I am not!!!! But thanks for your pre judgement, but I'm sure you've paid every bill you've ever had & never incurred any problems in life, but just keep living you will.

I'm just going to address the fact that, even if you pay them, they will not give you your account back. Been there, done that.

Best to learn stealth and let go of compromised old accounts.

I agree. eBay sees all this as shyster. Doesn't matter the situation eBay is unforgiving. They will never allow that account to be reinstated.
