Maybe a few things not thought of
 

Simons cards - do they all start with the same number?
If so then maybe ebay will know they are gift card and watch the account closer?

Feedback - No doubt that buying digital online items will attract attention, ebay would look for cost of items (eg 10 items with total cost of $5) and type of delivery.
Buying items that can be posted would be better perhaps?

What do you think?

I don't think Simon cards all start off with the same numbers. I don't have one in front of me, but even if they do, it doesn't matter to eBay.

And yes eBay could be looking at digital items more carefully, but again it shouldn't really matter. When you buy a whole bunch of cheap auctions, less then $1 at one time, then that's when eBay notices.

The simon cards all seem to start with the same number 4016 big friggin deal. All the major credit cards start with the same 4 numbers as well, that is one way you can tell what type of card it is.

Discover 6011
Amex - starts with 34 or 37
Visa always starts with a 4
Mastercard always starts with a 5

With Visa and Mastercard it is then broken down to which financial institution issued them

I.E. Wachovia Bank Starts with 4828 Valley National 4126
