If you are going to sell stuff to make a few thousand dollars worth of stuff, why wouldn't you invest to eBay Stealth book which is less than 40 dollars?

I know that searching through all the sections of the forums and all the threads contained in the various sections seems a little daunting. Let me give you a little search tip to make things easier (I think it's easier, anyway). Try using Google to search for more in depth answers to your questions. Using Google to search the aspkin forum allows you to use all the nifty Google parameters like quotation marks, plus and minus signs, and the like.

For instance - Google search (using the site: parameter): site:aspkin.com +"virtual address" for just +selling

If not:

Go to 192.168.1.1

Write down your LAN mac address

Change only the last 4 digits of your mac to any combination of 1-9 or a-f or a combination of both. For example:

My last 4 was 41.ac i changed it to 42 bc

This works to change the ip of my cable modem every time.If your internet goes out just change the mac back to the original LAN MAC IP.

Get a debit card for the account and use it to buy Simon.com gift accounts(virtual credit cards)

OHH..im not familiar with austrialia ebay accounts, nor NIC..But the network card has a mac address, swapping it out will change the mac adress of that particualr PC.

But it would be easier just to reset the modem or use the technique above,if possible

You don't need to buy new hardware, as you can manually change the MAC Address on a PC. Doing this should give you a new IP. I believe it's called MAC Spoofing.

Do a Google search, using the "site" parameter I mentioned above and add the search words +change +MAC +Address OR +change +IP +router for instructions.

What's preventing you from walking into a bank and getting a new checking or savings account? Most banks do not share the name on the account, just the account number and "routing" number. If you know somebody you can trust, you can get a joint account and use their name (or a variation - instead of Robert Smith, use Bob Smith) on eBay/PP.

I don't think there are any other options for you.

Just go get a new bank account with all of your information. Just follow the stealth book. It will help with all of these questions.

This person is 16 and cannot open any bank account in Australia until he is 18.
And, he had the stupidity to PM me and ask me to send him the ebook. For free!

The only information related to opening a bank account that is specific to Australia that's found in the ebook is, unfortunately, a little out of date.

Having said that, you're most likely avenue for getting back onto eBay would probably be with Modee's help. But if I were Modee, I'd charge you $75 to make up for the earlier $15 insult.

I believe this forum is to help people sell and become off ebay/paypal's radar and not for people to use it to scam people.

it seems to me that it seems like this person is not willing to ditch out any money but just want want want.
