Buyer account suspended
 

My account was also suspended indefinitely. I did nothing but purchase mostly inexpensive photography items with no problems until a seller sent me the wrong item (worth about the same as the original item, under $20.00 or so)
Seller responded immediately with promises to make everything right the very next day, but then waited 10 days -conveniently on the last day of the 14 day money back guarantee- with a changed mind and demands that I return the item, pay for return shipping. I could then expect to receive the correct item and reimbursement for return shipping; I had no reason to trust this person at this point and let it be known in a brief and civil message stating that I would just keep the item; as a last gesture of good faith I would have returned it had she agreed to email me a prepaid shipping label, but that was not on her list of demands.

The seller proliferated no fewer than 4 phone calls, 7 harassing ebay messages and separate emails and claimed to have have opened a "fraudulent buyer case" against me. Oh, and that the local police were notified; over a $16.00 camera lens.

I then began experiencing invalid security notices trying to log onto Yahoo email from my cell phone and today a suspension notice from ebay due to undisclosed security reasons.
The ebay security specialist recited a speech to me in a very heavy accent with plenty of background noise: All I could cypher was ad nauseum about user agreements and that he could not disclose security information pertaining to "my personal account" in order to avoid a possible security compromise with other members of the ebay community.


So how do I recover a basic ebay buyer account? Not sure I really want it after being stalked and ultimately suspended

That is a VERY Unique situation, Contacting Ebay is the only thing that I can see doing, Since you have already done this unsuccesssfully, you may want to consider opening another account, you could also contact Ebay again, a LOT of times another Ebay Rep will help you, even when others have not
