Low limits on new stealth account
 

Hi, I too was wrongfully suspended from selling on ebay and kept trying to create new accounts only to be shut down again.

So I just bought eBay stealth and did everything I was supposed to do and I have a new eBay account.

But my selling limits are ridiculously low! I can only sell 10 items a month or up to $1,000 whichever comes first.

Isn't it supposed to be 100 items or $5,000?

Does anyone have any ideas why this has happened?

ebay always has reason to suspend accounts. Sellers might not understand them so that's why it seems wrong.


When a new account has little to no standing with ebay, the limits are set low. Sellerrs then need to nuture the accounts to get increases.

Every stealth account I've ever created has has the 10 item/1K limits to start.....I read here, about people who get bigger limits starting out, but I've never had that happen to me.

10 item is the sad normal these days - have to experiment with account creation to try for higher limit start...but it's tough

10/1000 is normal and some accounts start lower at 10/500

At least for the US all your stealth accounts will start like this, you need to slowly build your business and than if you have perfect feedback and high DSRs than after 3 to 4 months the limits will begin to raise

If u need 100 items create 10 accounts

It gets interesting when you need 1000 items. Combination of buying raised limits accounts and creation of new accounts can work well.

It takes time and is an ongoing process, I have no set limit , the limits I need are More, like any other business you grow and expand over time

Or buy from sellers here if you can operate the accounts well :) /plug for sellers

10/1000 might seem low, but limits usually raise after a few months. It's all a game with ebay

Yes your able to purchase accounts on this Forum with 100/5000 limits and you can purchase some that are aged and ready to sell on

Is the selling limits by calendar month or every 30 days?
For example if I list 10 items today and sold everything before the end of the month,
do I get to list another 10 the beginning of next month?

Thank you so much everyone for your answers and feedback, I appreciate it! I did end up finding out why my account was suspended..it turns out my father had an account years ago that was suspended due to a non payment. It took them a long time but eventually they connected the accounts because they had the same address on them. What I don't understand is why they increased me to having no limits and being a top rated seller in the meanwhile..then all of a sudden shut me down out of the blue. It sucks and is really not fair because I had nothing to do with my fathers account! I am definitely going to purchase at least one 100/5000 account! I also bought the stealth guide so hopefully it works out :)

yes it resets the first of the month
