About a year ago i started selling on my personal account. I was selling phones and a friend lured me into vero items (bad idea). One day i called up ebay to raise my limits and they asked for invoices which of course i didn't have and limited me.

Then i tried the ebay stealth thing, which is cool but a lot of work and not to mention risky when selling 3-400 dollar phones.

So back in december i'm like screw it let me just open up another account under my same name and address, voila i could sell again. So everything is going fine, went back to selling just phones, had 27 positive feedback, 60 sales, 100/5000 limit, instant money. This morning i get the mc999 linking the account :mad:.

What i'm asking is that since the other account hasn't been used for over a year is it a good idea to try and call to see if they can lift the limits?

That could not work

If you have not fixed the problems the limits stay.

eBay are mean like that.

That sucks, i guess i'll just resort back to craigslist. Selling phones was just something to do while in college. Good thing i graduate in 2 weeks : )

Good news guys, called up ebay anyway and they removed the restriction!!!

Back in business!
I told the girl that i had no access to invoices since i buy and resell off of craigslist and she removed the restrictions!

Yikes - be aware that this new PP is still linked to the old PP via eB...COULD go down at any time (nothing is 100% however).

It may or may not be. A friend of mine has talked to a paypal rep and they said to remember that as a business paypal and ebay are still two separate entities. That if ebay suspends your account instead of having to create a new paypal account. It is much easier to just change the existing email on your current PayPal. Voila you have a new paypal. This is good for people like me that use their PayPal MasterCard a lot.

They may say that, but a lot of info sharing goes on between the two.

Changing email address on PP has not worked for a while. EB will find out.

I don't know, It worked for me. Took them 5 months to link the accounts and when i called up and reassured them that i am not conducting any funny business they helped me out.
