Hello Everyone, Need Advice With Tablet.
 

I recently upgraded my phone and they gave me a free Samsung Galaxy Tab3 with a sim card inside for internet use.

I turn off the tablet at the sprint store and haven't turned it on till now. I want to use it just for e bay. My question is.... is there anyway this tablet can jeopardize my account?

My phone contract is under my name and I dont know if e bay can link it to me in anyway.

Please I'd like to know any information possible.... I will be using the ebay app on the device.

Do not use the APP.

You can use the phones browser without issue (still need to follow all the stealth rules though)

What can the app do? What if I take out the sim card completely format the tablet and just connect it to my wifi modem that I only use ebay on.

Can't use it for stealth you will get linked, just type in eBay app in he forums search box

Ok Everyone! I understand everyone is sick of this topic I really do, I will write this as clear as possible.

I have a brand new tablet. The only thing ive done with it is turn it off and on. what is the only way I can use it without being linked?

My idea of how I can use it... throw sim card out, format it just to be sure. Turn off all gps futures. Connect to my wifi and use it.

The wifi connection I have is only for my desktop, my desktop has only been used for ebay.

I don't even search things with that computer.

My account is a legal business that operates under an LLC. I have over 8k feedback. 100%

The app I only want to use for 1 reason and only one reason only. To answer messages asap.

So please someone explain to me in detail of how exactly I will be linked?

It cannot be used for stealth

It's asked at least once a day for 365 days and every day so far the answer is no, you will get linked and shut down

You do not need to take any advice, we know how great the app is how easy it makes everything, so try it and see how it works out

Its been explained in detail why it cannot be used many times.

Just use the browser.

Formatting a tablet does nothing to make the APP safer.

If you use the browser on your tablet though your homes WiFi you will need to ensure that the IP is clean

EBay does make a great App, no matter how many times this topic is covered the question still comes up every week.

The App is so good that despite all the negative aspects pointed out in all the threads,,and the specific quotes that were highlighted showing that u basically hand over all your phones Access in the control of eBay, the OP still only somehow seen all the eBay App threads on this forum as " Yes the App can be Used". I don't get how that the OP could of interpreted eBay app threads as it can be used, everyone I seen for the last year and a half said no it cannot be used

Could you please provide me a link where it explain in detail why using the app will not work in any circumstance?

All I have been reading is how other people can't use it because there set up is so complex.

Mine is very simple. I have the extra cash that a lot of the sellers here dont seem to have to spend and make sure not to get linked instead of using complicated methods.

How will I be able to ensure that the IP is clean?

Ok Dmshark, you seem like a very smart guy. Could you please tell me if my tablet is fully accessed by ebay... what exactly can they find that will get me linked and banned?

What I do not understand is why so many people are so determined to use the APP.

It has nothing to do with people not wanting to spend extra cash buying tablets. Its simply dangerous to use and can very very easily cause a link.

If you want to see a detailed reason why it cannot use used use the search feature.

You get a clean IP by making sure that the IP has never been used by a previously banned accounts. This is a very basic part of stealth.

My fault, Ill be more clear on how my ebay operates.



I went to best buy bought a brand new desktop computer.

I registered the computer with my ebay name(My real name changed a bit), (hadn't created an ebay yet). Created an email and registered the computer under that email, I use that email for ebay ONLY. For this computer only i got a separate INTERNET LINE! So i pay for 2 Internets.
I DO NOT USE THIS COMPUTER FOR ANYTHING BUT MY EBAY!

I do not log into my fb, or my emails or anything this is a computer for only business.

I have a corner desk where both my computers sit. If i want to check my email i use the other computer which is connected to my other internet line that has my original amazon account and dont have to worry about anything.

I ONLY HAVE ONE EBAY ACCOUNT!

The location im using is a warehouse a block away that was build 5 years ago. The person that is leasing it has never used ebay nor knows how to use a computer and has been there ever since it opened. I am going to move into that location by the end of the year hopefully.

I do not need to check for a clean IP nor any of the things most of the ebay stealth users here do.
