DBA for LLC

Earlier this year my partner and I filed for an LLC and were using that to open a business bank account and Amazon account. Unfortunately we ended up getting suspended.

At this point we have a DBA for said LLC, but from my understanding we cannot obtain a new EIN for this. Without an EIN and new bank account (which requires the EIN), we do not see a possibility of getting back on Amazon.

Is there a way around this? Perhaps we could somehow convert the DBA to it's own entity? Any suggestions would be appreciated. We trust that there are others out there who have experience in this or a similar situation.

Re: DBA for LLC

Id use the llc you have for ebay and make a new LLC for amazon.

Slight problem there. The LLC is no good for either right now because somehow it got linked. Is there a way of using the DBA to get back on Ebay? I guess what would be the kicker is whether or not an EIN/SSN is required, which I cannot remember.

With a DBA I should be able to get a unique bank account, address, and legal name.

So you used this for both amazon and eBay already?

Yes, somehow we got linked. We have the guide but must not have covered our tracks somewhere. We think it was maybe opening an email pertaining to a banned account on the new computer.

So is it possible to use Ebay and Half.com without an EIN or SSN?

It is possible with eBay but not with one account you need to make, multiple accounts and spread your sales over them and spread them thin

As Lon as you are not on pace to make 200/$20000 on any one account than you will not be asked for a tax ID

Building your Business like this will take time, but this is the best model to follow to build a strong lasting business

Re: DBA for LLC

I know in one of the guides I read it went over the possibility of having multiple accounts. Seems difficult to avoid making mistakes.

Right now I have cleaned my computer up : reinstalled the OS, changed the MAC address, new IP, and did what I could to avoid linking through web fingerprints.

So putting this into practice :

-Is it against the rules to have more than one ebay account?
-If not, then wouldn't this require multiple paypal accounts as well?
-If so, then how do I go about going stealth without detection? Would my IP and MAC need to be changed every time I logged into a different account?

Also, if I choose to just have one account and I end up running into a SSN question, could I just get an EIN from the IRS as a sole proprietor? Would that suffice?

Re: DBA for LLC

Also, what would happen if just one account got suspended? Wouldn't there be a domino effect with the others I made, since they would get linked? I understand having multiple accounts to avoid the strict selling limits, but for security purposes, it doesn't seem beneficial.

BTW, I am more interested in using Half.com since the prices are more reasonable as a seller. Any tips for getting on there and staying on there?
