Just when I thought eBay couldn't screw me more
 

So i got my account restricted from selling, it was my main and only account. I have since made new stealth accounts thanks to the stealth guide; but that's irrelevant.

I've been eagerly waiting to finalize all of my sales on this account so that I can close it and move on without accidentally linking it to my new accounts. I had two cases open, one was for $200 and another $30. Both cases were for items not received, one was put in a week after they bought the item and the other because EBAY deleted all my listings and the buyer got scared they were getting scammed. So I was able to work things out with the buyers and they were waiting for the items to arrive.

I log on today to find out that eBay on MY BEHALF escalated the cases and I lost because since I can't sell I can't be protected under the eBay seller guarantee. WTF?? So now, I am out over $200 because eBay escalated the cases and ruled against me.

Has this happened to anyone else?

On the second case you probably did get
 

legitimately screwed, but in the first case, the buyer shouldn't have even been able to file a claim until after the expected delivery date, no? Did you list it as immediate shipping and not ship?

You never explained why your main account got kicked off. If you aren't a shyster and sold legit items and had good feedback, ratings, etc. You have a very good chance of getting it back if you are willing to jump through the hoops with the long phone calls etc.

Otherwise. You are another seller of copyright or Vero products imported from China. Should have used stealth accounts from the beginning. If you did this 8 years ago you could have made a fortune. Now most Sellers with Vero products on eBay are cockroaches waiting to get stomped on.

Why would you EVER close an account of your own free will???

Never do that.

Either let ebay kill it or try to keep it going.

If you are worrying about linking yourself, then you need to learn the methods to not link yourself.

Sorry to hear you were shafted. It happens to all of us, but we keep fighting..

And yes, this has happened to me before, but only in extreme cases.

I've never sold anything VERO. I sell computer parts and components. Low risk. Most of the items I sold were less than $20. I've had my account since 2009 but only started selling a couple months back. eBay wouldn't tell me why they suspended selling for my account because "I could make another account and use the information to circumvent their enforcement policies" oh well now I have 10 accounts. Screw them.

Computer parts are high risk

A lot of parts out of china are labeled with less memory than what is actually on them

If you are selling legit items and a PayPal with a Tax ID was attached to it. I would be calling every day asking to speak with the I think they call it "Seller Venting Department". If you bitch enough and are willing to send invoices and jump through all their hoops you might get it back. A few members have had success doing this with their legit accounts. But literally had to spend hours on the phone with eBay demanding to speak with the person who pulled your items, etc.

when they were sick in your account hey you already shipped your customers orders? If not why didn't you just refund their money to your PayPal anyway?
