Bought some stuff, left neg, and selling account prem banned
 

Hi,

I am a legit seller, selling $4k-$5k/mo on ebay, my account is from 2010, so it is 4 years old. All of my information on my account is correct, and i only have 1 selling account as per the ebay policies.

On my buying account, i purchased 50+ items from a seller, paid for, and received. The seller then randomly blocked me, which upset me, so i left 10 negs for 10 of the items which had legitimate issues - i didnt complain at first as i got the items for so cheap.

Hours later, the seller sent me a Legal Threat off ebay, via my email, threatening to sue me for disrupting their ebay sales. I don't have the money for a lawsuit, so i was forced to remove the negative feedback which i did.

Then, the next day, ebay perm banned my Selling account.
They won't let me appeal, nor will they tell me the reason why my account was banned. They simply say that they had a huge ass list of reasons.

What can i do to get my account reinstated?

If they won't even tell you why...there is nothing you can do. And it's not ebay's policy that you can just have one seller account?? If you want to keep selling on ebay, get the stealth guide and get to making accounts....you'll be glad you did.

Go away.

By you purchasing so much, the seller thought something was up.
And blocked you because you were probably a risk. S/he was right.

So instead of trying to contact them (When you PURCHASE something from a seller, they can STILL see messages you send) you left 10 NEGS. You didnt request any info through ebays system...YOU DIDNT EVEN CHECK PAYPAL...

Ugh...Stay banned.

Good riddance.

Ebay probably saw your linked accounts and banned both because of this 'list of reasons'

I agree, why would you leave 10 neg feedbacks, just ask to return the items. Instead you try and damage someone else's lively-hood, What is wrong with you?

I would have returned everything backed to him. That would have woke him up.

Recently I made a high end purchase on ebay. The BIN price on the item was about $300-$400 lower than the going rate found elsewhere on ebay. So I did what anyone else would do, I jumped on it.

The next thing I know, the seller starts messaging me and asking why I bought it so fast. He also called me an insulting name but not something ebay would consider offensive.
He was upset the item wasn't listed long enough to generate some bidding.

:mad: I was furious that someone would insult me after I made an expensive purchase. I wanted to pull his head off his shoulders and spin it around like a top! :heh: I wanted badly to return the item but didn't because I had gotten such a great deal :thumb:.

Yeah dude, you are looking for help from the wrong group here. Ppl on here make a living from EB, and you are telling us how you just tried to ruin a seller because you was pissed that he blocked you after you made that purchase. I would have been skeptical too. Ppl need to learn to communicate.

Every now and then Ebay makes a good decision in permanently banning someone. This was one of those good decisions. I have to applaud that seller for taking the action necessary to make Ebay a safer place. Hopefully he is a member here and you should not be a member. If anyone helps you here, they are a moron.

w0w, WTF people.

All of the items were paid for, and when i was blocked, i contacted the seller several times. No response was given.

I was being easy on them for not blowing up immediately on those 10 items.

If someone starts buying too much from me. It has only happened a few times but I have blocked them from buying more as well. Having not dealt with them.

Wrong move by leaving feedback and not contacting the seller first, etc. As a seller you should know better than this.

Most of us here make a living or a substantial part of our income from eBay. If you pick a fight with a large seller. They have lots of pull with eBay.

As the old saying goes, if you mess with the bull you get the horns. You got the horns.

The fact is "You blew up" instead of asking the seller WHY they blocked you.

Step one is to try ALL venues of communication.
You are messing with someones reputation and livelihood.
Go through paypal go through ebay. Heck, when you purchase something, you can get the sellers/buyers info through paypal. Takes all of 2 minutes.

Sellers only get a certain numbers of revisions per 100 transactions.

No one owes you anything and the buyer is NOT always right.
I feel so bad for this seller...

Ridiculous. It's within sellers right not to sell to a certain buyer (by blocking it), as much as you can choose not to buy from a particular seller.

No sympathy here.
