Restricted for selling in a certain category
 

Hi,

I recently started sell clothing in eBay and I was using 2 accounts at the same time to sell the same item (yes i'm an idiot) so it was going well for around 2-3 weeks until I got a email saying my account was restricted and I needed send documents.

I don't have invoices for my clothing however they are all 100% real and I've had 100% positive feedback.

What do I do?

I can't get an invoice..my only next option is to make a stealth account but i'm worried if i start selling on that account I'll get the same problem too where they'll ask me for identification and proof I have the item..

please help me I don't know what I can do :(

The might, instead of invoices, accept your supplier information. It sounds like someone at eBay may think you are selling counterfeits and they are looking to make sure that your items are legitimate.

The 2 accounts that you use, are they legit or stealth?

Can't you get the invoice from where you got the products from? This would be easiest to supply it to them.

And while you are at it, you should call them too once you have the invoices.

First, never used or sell the same products and not change things up such as pictures, prices, descriptions etc.

Second, why do you not have invoices?

I sent them supplier information but they insisted that they need an invoice which I can't seem to get.

The thing is I purchased these from my friends for a cheap price and my friend is my supplier who purchases the goods from his supplier. He has the invoices but it's in his name and address etc. So I can't get an invoice every time I've called them up they just keep asking for the invoice not sure what I can do. :(

They are both legit accounts. Never used or made a stealth account in my life this is the first time i've heard about it on this forum which my friend recommended me too.

Agreed, if you are going to sell similar items. You must switch up what you are doing. So it looks like two unique eBay members. To Sandy's point. When selling legit clothing is seems odd you wouldn't have some kind of invoice or receipt of purchase.

Oh, so you did a business deal with a friend who appears to be on-selling goods he may or may not have permission to do?

Issue then is the friend needs to help you with an invoice.

I've been in a similar situation and without invoices there isn't much you can do…
