Scared for MC999

My account got indefinite limit on listing in a certain category about a month ago because of a VeRO violation.

Now, an item in a completely different category got VeRO'd and I have a 30 day listing suspension. Does anyone think I'll lose this account because of it?

Any advice on what to do next, I have taken down any other listings that may be suspicious. Still new on eBay but figuring the game out now.

Can anyone chime in, would love to hear the thoughts. Thanks!

Let the account lie for a bit.
If you list more vero on it you will get a permanent ban.

I had issues similar. Got a warning first, then 7 day restriction, then 30 day restriction. I havent relist anything iffy on that account again.

I agree with Bunneh on laying off that account awhile. I would stay off at least a month or longer. EB says they are not targeting your account, but they are lying. They are watching your account like a hawk!

Just make more backup Stealths your gonna need them if your just selling Vero items. More than likely they will keep getting hit

Let me share several things about these sorts of accounts.

Do not list anything on that account for at least 90 days. Let it rest. After 90 days, only list safe items. Never touch VeRo in that account again.

ebay can go back 90 days & pull lisitings. But more dangerous is this.

In 12 months or longer, ebay can decided your account should be suspended simply because of these current suspensions.

Make more stealth accounts.

I had a similar issue. Listed a VeRO, I got the MC999 warning.

I then moved to another VeRO, this time, got a 7 days suspension with last warning.

I went golfing for 7 days. Came back and continued to sell normally until I called for limit increase and there was my nightmare.

Your account is not dead, let it rest of you have other accounts.

Read stealth - embrace it - then apply the principles to SEVERAL accounts to rebuild.

As for this account in 30 day suspension...let it cool and do NOT sell the same items that got it toasted

Create many stealths and mitigate the risk and workload. I'd say it's worth being cautious enough to take a slow start once you are off suspension, but not worth being so cautious that you avoid listing these items all together. The account is there to make you money, after all.

Account is flagged for life.

With accounts that get 3 warnings but still stay up, has happened a year later or longer the account gets zapped.

This is true without a doubt. And if OP keeps listing the items that got him/her in trouble, it is only a matter of time until the account is toast.

If I was OP I would establish more accounts, then squeeze every dollar I could out of this account before it gets shut down.
