advice on the next step plz

ok, so I got this:
MC008 eBay account selling restriction.

So I did this:
- A readable copy of your driver's license, front *and* back, or other government-issued ID. I sent passport and front of license.
- A copy of a recent bank statement. Your name and billing address should be visible, and consistent with the information registered to your eBay account.
- Documentation that shows that you purchased the item(s) recently listed for sale on eBay. I sent a receipts.

Now I get this:
After reviewing your documentation, we are unable to clearly read the driver's licence (it was perfectly clear but I did not send the back of it) and supplier information provided. This information would need to be resubmitted in order for us to completely finish the review of the restriction appeal.

-- A readable copy of the driver's license, front *and* back, or other government-issued ID.
-- Documents that prove that you purchased the item(s) recently listed for sale on eBay. This can include manufacturer invoices or receipts.

PLUS they want me to call them! Heres the issue, the phone I have on file with them I don't have access to. What would you suggest? I can send the back of the license and I can send more invoices if I have to.

thanks in advance!

ps: the account is over 5 yrs old, 200fb, 100% perfect. They apparently didn't like a particular item I was selling.

You can also use the SPOOF CARD to show any number you like on their caller-id. I have done this successfully in the past. Its cheap, like $25 for 100 minutes.

Trig, I don't see a difference in changing the phone number and calling them either soon or later.

It should be fine. From what I recalled in the past, they didn't even say something like :"I see you changed **** recently".

Really? They have said that to me.

They noticed everything happening with changes.

I'm sure they do notice.

Luckily for me, they never really emphasize it.
And even if they do, the reply will be rather natural that there is nothing to it.

I never had any issue with changing the number, and there is nothing wrong with, adding a new number

People change phone numbers , get new lines all the time, and eBay wants u to update the number to a workin phone , so there won't be an issue with that

However you have a battle ahead of you, hopefully you get in contact with a helpful rep

Good luck

I would also recommend adding an additional phone number, but that spoof suggestion is awesome!

ebay allows 2 numbers

good luck!

Prowa, is it just 2 numbers? I have never had more than 1, so I don't know if it's unlimited or limited to 2.

I have changed the number for an account and then called - when they asked me about the change of number, I explained that I updated it due to time elapsed and I had a new number assigned - I didnt have issue with it (specifically for the phone number)

I've done same thing....If they bring up number change and act "hinkey" about it....I just ask the rep if he's had the same phone number for his whole life? Always the answer is no, and I tell them , well see, we all change numbers now and then.
