I am no where new to the stealth process and I know pretty much everything there is too know about making the accounts. Recently ebay has stepped up on there MC999 suspensions. Anyways the question I have is how long should I age a new account before I start selling vero. I mean I see others sell them with a new account and they never get banned. I'm this just happened recently where I would get suspended for posting one even a week or two after making the accounts. I know people are going to say don't sell vero but that is where I make all my profit. Anyone have any tips or anything would be greatly appreciated.

Really depends on the item and if you have the rights owners permission. Vero is a pretty broad term

And are these from an authorized dealer? Do you have the permission from the rights holder to sell these items?

Yes I do have all rights to sell these items. No matter what you list in the computer related field you get the mc999

Yeah. I have all software with boxes and coas included. Whether you list them as digitally delivered or full packaged delivered with coa you still get suspended

You are probably getting reported by a competitor b/c your selling for way less than they are.

Doubt that I list it and within an hour it gets removed and throws up the mc999. Never ever had this issue before

Have you tried selling other items on the new accounts? Maybe you are getting linked somehow. I would eliminate this possibility first then move on to dealing with eBay directly.

Are you selling these elsewhere with no problems or just EB?

Also, are you used to being able to sell a lot on one account previously or constantly having to create new ones? A $300 software item on a brand new account is quite the feat.

If you are truly authorized by the manufacturer, then you should have an email at least confirming your status.

I believe you can submit this to eBay so that they'll note your account for less risk of getting suspended.

Before you do that, if I were you, I'd contact the manufacturer again and reconfirm everything and if it's ok if eBay were to call to verify you.

:doh: Selling software on a new account is the same as putting a target on it's back then going to eB :boink: and asking them to shoot you down.

That's because boxes and COAs are easily cou/nterf/eited. So, that still doesn't mean you are "authorized".

@ Sikwonx 579791! Was this Stealth account verified? I recently make one stealth a/c and purchased few dollar items and about 4 days later I added VERO item, and dang...Got hit with MC999 then called in. Funny and lucky thing was that the Ebay rep. just asked for my name. No address/email/ or either asked me to verify my identity. Of course, my PayPal was verified, and I think that helped a lot. Long story short, You can post VERO items in 2- 3 days. Make sure your PP is verified and you should be ok..

Attach the authorization letter as a pic in your listing, if you are authorized, or add a purchase receipt as pic,you can also add COA's but don't forget to blur the details :) i used to sell softwares 4-5 years back,

Unscrupulous suppliers could try to fool you with phake everything, especially COAs.

Make sure your source is selling 'real' and not phake items.

All the software I have was purchased from microsoft. I've learned that whether it's authentic or not your listing must be flagged if you post on a new account. Months ago I never had an issue. When do you think it would be safe to start selling software on a new account?

At least 90 days if this account has had MC999 as described.
