eBay said I can't list anymore until they verify me
 

I sell items for extra money every month and I had a 20 item a month limit and they had previously upped it from 10 to 20 items. I called them requesting to make it 25 items a month and they asked for more information, my identity and immediately said I couldn't list anymore until they receive it. We all have our reasons why we don't want ebay knowing our identities.

So if I just open a new ebay and paypal account, keep the old ones in good standing, I should be fine then right? Its not suspended or anything. Just a hold on listing more items until I provide info that I really can't provide.

Do I need to start completely over or would possibly making a new ebay account and linking my current paypal to it work?

Or go with a full-on ghost system?

hays... u just made it hard for yourself... never call them... just let the system do the increase...

1. never call them up unless yo have all the info on hand they will ask you a lot of questions.

2. you need to go full-on ghost with every new ebay acc or AZ acc.

here is what you need for a new or banned acc every time.

ip, full address + zip, bank acc , new bank card or gift card, new SSN or EIN , new user acc on pc, paypal, ETC you need all new info for a new acc

ps please don't use any of your old info other wise you will get hit with a mc999 right off the bat. you CAN NEVER NEVER LINK OLD INFO FROM A BANNED EBAY OR PAYPAL ACC EVEN A NON BANNED PAYPAL OR EBAY ACC.

Right, I understand all of that but is my account actually banned? Like if I just don't send in the info, will they hit me with an MC999? My plan is to pay my seller fees, start a new ebay account linked to my current paypal which is in good standing for 6 months now, and then close my old ebay account. Since I technically am not suspended.

if you can't provide what they want and IF they let you close it, you can do whatever you want as long as you call them again...

The account is on the line to be shot down.
Buy you calling you raised a lot of flags.

You should start fresh and get the stealth guide.

It would be a shame to waste more energy and time on waiting to see what happens to the old accounts. :ranger:

ok unless you send them the info they ask they will just close it at one point. ALSO YOU CANT CANT CANT CANT RE-USE ANY OLD INFO PAYPAL OR EBAY YOU NEED ALL NEW EVERYTHING.

Yeah I shouldn't have called. Last time I called they raised the limits no problem so I figured it wasn't an issue. Then I did some research and found this place and realized how crazy ebay is. The reason I started the account using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info is last time my account got hacked along with my paypal which had my SSN on it. So I figured I'd hide this time.

Oh well. I'll just change my IP address and buy a ghost account from someone on the site. I don't think I'm getting this account back now

Basically what ebay is doing is forcing people to make Stealth... This is the side effect of banning people...

Avoid doing that with your existing paypal.

Learn a new and dangerous word :LINK. Never do things that link you.

Start to learn the better stealth methods which include avoiding ever calling into ebay.

I wonder if I should just pay off the $60 in fees from last month and close the account so I don't have to worry about IP address issues?

If you do not operate correctly with user accounts, cookies you create hassles.

Avoid that.

So if I just delete and disable cookies & change IP addy then I won't have any issues if I buy a new a new "clean" stealth account?

You make a new user account...you phase in the stealth account by browsing and bidding...and you do NOT call for limit increases

what if there was a way I could provide them with an ID that had the name and address of the account holder? would that satisfy them or would they try to "verify" that ID as well?

When they want to verify you , they can ask you stuff as obscure as your former mother-in-laws maiden name or birthday...I've had that done to me years past...so if you're going to try and finesse your way thru that........good luck. If you play the stealth game by the stealth rules, you'll win. Deviate and you are rolling some crummy dice.
