MC197 Your eBay account is restricted . Help me !
 

I received the following notification from them :

" Our records show your account is linked to a previous eBay account "" ........" that is currently suspended for nonpayment of eBay fees. Your current account has been restricted from buying or selling until this previous balance has been cleared up.

To pay your fees, please follow these steps:
1. Log out of your eBay account by clicking the "Log Out" button at the top of the page.
2. Click "Sign In" at the top of the next page and log into the previous user ID.
3. In the "Accounts" tab in My eBay, click "Seller Account".
4. Select a method to pay your eBay fees.

If you don't have access to your account or prefer not to pay online, please mail your payment with your payment coupon to:
eBay Inc.
P.O. Box 2179

- If you're mailing your payment, write your account ID on the check and include a copy of this notice.

I use virtual account but I do not know it's associated with another account suspended not pay fees (I do not know this account) ..
Now I want to pay a fee for that account hope so my account of to be reinstated . But I do not know how to pay ?
Please help me how to pay for the fees it safely .

Edit your post and remove the linked eBay ID. The owner of that ID could be on this forum.

Why pay fees for an account that is not yours. I know that once you pay the fees, they may still suspend you.

Just call them and tell them you have no knowledge of this account or know the owner. They will definitely ask for IDs to verify identity.

It may be a long ride, just be prepared.

but I also am using a virtual account. I can not call them to verify the identity.
The only way I could try to pay account fees that . . So i can buy gift card send for them or something echeck .How to safely and unsuspected .?

The other account is probably restricted for Another reason so you will pay and still be suspended

Keep in mind that even if you regulate the fees, you may still remain suspended on both - best of luck with your choice

you gotta think this guy probably burned this account on purpose and decided not to pay fees because it was toasted anyhow. so paying the fees is just the first layer of the onion. you wont find out whats next until you play this game with EB.

by paying the bill, you are admitting that this was your account. you need to call them. at this point you have nothing to lose and only an account to gain.

i had to call them before because they said that the account seemed to be linked to another account. they did not drag me through the database, and everything worked out.

call in the evening. be nice and be dumb. it is always better for them to feel like they are helping out a dumb animal. it is the best way to get compassion from my calling EB experiences.

I would say call them, but EB is full of BS and it may not work out the way you want it too. We had an account for 3 years, they refunded a buyer in June, because they didn't receive their item I sent even though I provided tracking. So they made me pay them back, my account was restricted until I finally paid them 3 days ago and guess what? Its still restricted and they told me they did a full investigation on my account and that I will remain restricted indefinitely! She wouldn't even tell me why, saying that if she did I would figure out how to get around the loop holes. All I did was have family members open up accounts in their names so I could continue selling. I paid them almost $200 for nothing!!

IMO they dangle the " all you need to do is pay your fees" as a carrot and when you do pay those fees, the account becomes "perma-banned"....
