How do I handle an 80% Stealth Account
 

My account received one bad rating too fast. I contaced the buyer and she agreed to remove it. In the meantime my account is in danger for been at 80%. Its been a week and so far i have been waiting for her to make her move after providing her with the link. What are my option to save it?

happens, I am glad you sort it out with your buyer :) if you are having active listings it will effect the price they are going to sell otherwise I don't think you will be limited because of that just let your buyer know he/she must remove the fb within 5 days than link expires

Sell items and try to get feedback to dilute the negative feedback

1 bad rating drops you down to 80%? Sell low end items with free shipping for fast positive feedback.

Yes...but I had the same thing happen to a stealth account over a year ago.....got hit with a neg at 8 feedbacks....Nothing but 60 positives since then....they didn't suspend me...but that account is still at 10/1K...for 18 months now...so don't expect limit raises on it soon.

I lost the account last night. I did something stupid in a period of 3 days. I started buying items and brought the account to 90%. On the 3rd day, I got the MC999 "suspicious activity". The account doesn't exist any longer, I sent the buyer a message and asked her to reach out to buyers first rather than providing negative feedback. I told her that I lost my bread and butter and wished her the best of luck.

Luckly, it wasn't. It was an account with 10 limit-item that I opened in June when I had lost everything I had worked so hard. As for the one with the raised limits, I am working on it (one item per day) this month.

You mean told the buyer to speak to sellers first before leaving negative?


You also need to be more proactive and get the contact details of the buyer. Push them as much as you can and control getting the feedback removed.

Waiting costs accounts.

Double check that item. Was the negative warranted? If so, take steps to not sell again.

Had you any other issues? Was the account very new ?

I agree with rsot's answer, thats how I keep my top rated status, by selling lots of cheap free shipping items to prop up my account, so I can sell my main products for top price, all the while keep account in good standing. Also I have contacted ebay and Iv had them reverse a defect point in the past, so you might just want to chat to ebay

Well, that sucks...like everyone else, I'm sorry to hear that. Just make a new account to replace it and move on.

I can't contact ebay because it is a stealth account with a missing letter to my name. I had the account since June 2014 and although it never received an increased it was active and aging. I have created two more accounts ever since.

It's hard to your account when ebay receives bad feedback, however you have many good feedback then. Try hard to raise limited, good luck
