Please re-read the thread again. You answered Modee's question, not mine.

You mentioned that you just supply a bogus account. I mentioned that ebay will require the payment to be sent to wherever you're linked at first. Modee guessed that you just made up an email. Then you talked about your merchant account. The question still remains unanswered. What do you do in that circumstance when ebay requires you to link to paypal to sell internationally? I'll save requoting the whole thread again, but the whole question obviously doesn't end there, it's been asked in this thread already.

I use the one I have been spamming here. LOL

Chris Hanson 07-27-2007 08:10 PM

Jack,

I dont sell internationally so i can;'t really answer that question.

But when one time when Ebay put a selling limit on my account before and ask that I link a paypal I quickly made 1 up and linked it. Thats it and thats all. I used the same info from my ebay account and inputted it in my paypal account

JackNoMore 07-27-2007 08:42 PM

Well you almost answered it that time. Didn't you have to put the paypal email in the payment section and thus risk receiving a payment to the bogus account? How were you able to avoid that, or did you just risk it?

Chris Hanson 07-27-2007 08:56 PM

NO. I just told you Jack that i do not list paypal in my listings. That 1 time I just linked accounts to remove the seller limit. it was only to so call "verify myself".

Anyone got a shovel....????

"Jack, I dont sell internationally so i can;'t really answer that question."

Chris, You don't or you do sell internationally? I'm Confused.
Here you said you had a rapper from Australia
Here you state you ship your heavy items by freight

Chris Hanson 07-28-2007 05:06 PM

Okay the only reason i sell internationally if someone contact me by ebay email and askk the infamous silly question"do you or can you ship overseas". I will ship international only if the pay by Westerion Union or Money Gram and I let them know that. some pay some don't.

So to answer your questions yes I will sell internationally but I don' t sell internationally. lol

JackNoMore 07-29-2007 11:15 AM

I was not aware that you could just link accounts and not offer paypal in your listings. That's a new one on me. I thought the two went hand in hand. Anyone else confirm this?

aspkin 10-21-2007 05:44 AM

LOL, Jack and Chris... You guys make me crack up.

rond100 11-13-2007 10:24 PM

You don't offer paypal in the listing. I offer a credit card only via merchant account. If someone emails me requesting paypal. I send them a bill from paypal for the amount and do not link paypal to ebay at all. This is for people who don't trust online credit cards.
