MC999 First Time Registering-Suspended Permanently

Hello folks,

First off, yes I am a "newbie" here. I want to learn the ropes of eBay/PayPal and will be purchasing a guide soon.

After creating a stealth account, I listed an item. The next day, I logged in and noticed the I had a MC999 suspension on my account permanently.

I called in eBay and they told me they could not tell me why I was suspended indefinitely because "I would be able to make a new account and avoid the suspension".

I was trying to sell Microsoft Office 2013 Key Card.

Anyone know what the heck is going on with eBay? I certainly would like to know why they can't tell me why I got suspended.

Thanks!

Edit: So what should I go about doing now?

You cannot list an item like that as a first item on eBay.

That is way way high to risk an item.

Try something like a used book.

You need to earn to right to sell VERO items.

Got it. How many low risk items should I sell before selling this as my staple product?

Thank you so much for your response.

Welcome aboard.
Firstly, Like James said, That is a hot item to be listing whether your account is aged or not.

It is risky even on an old account with legit info. Keys, cracks, codes, and anything of that sort is a pain to sell.

The MC999 is common. There are ways to get around it. I suggest you get the eBook. Read that, it's an easy guide. Once you do that, come back on. Read around and try giving it another shot.

Best of Luck! We're here to help! But, we need you to at minimum read that guide so you could know what we're talking about.

--------------------
Once you get your new account, do what James said.. Get like a book, or a general product. Stay away from a big brand.

How long is a bit of string

Are your items authentic?

IMO its better and easier to find another product to sell.

They are authentic. What recommendations do you have? I would love to hear them.

I'd say about a month or two, but the item u trynna sell is very high risk cause it can be ⊗⊗⊗⊗d.

What should I do so that eBay will get off my butt?

Now there is an item I wouldn't recommend selling on eBay from day one. I'd wait 90 days, personally, while building up the account. Your real threat is not Microsoft (who doesn't really care about this stuff), but eBay, rather. eBay will let counterfeiters from China list bogus software products all day long, but someone in the USA lists a legit item (that, as far as I know, has not been counterfeited yet), and they come down on you like a ton of bricks.

I would list these on Amazon if you want to get rid of them fast. Amazon is not so touchy about this stuff like ebay, they only crush you if there are complaints from customers.

I have actually tried listing on Amazon. They took it down very quick...claiming that only THEY can sell it. Very frustrating.
