Getting going again on a company laptop

I'm just getting myself set up again with the help of the stealth guide & it's going well so far CClean is great (I only want one account for now) but occurred to me I don't think it's going to be possible to get my other half going again on her work laptop. She works from home & It's the only PC she has & rightly or wrongly uses it for everything.

I've tried to do things on her lap top myself but without admin privileges its next to impossible to do anything. I certainly couldn't install CClean on it & I'm fairly sure I wouldn't be able to create a new user on it, is there any other way of getting her going on it?

Re: Getting going again on a company laptop

Does the company she work for provide the laptop?
If so she could try ask for admin privelages?

Or there are other ways around admin but that would most likely get her fired

Yes the laptop was provided by her company, avoiding ways of getting her fired would be good!

I wanted to use a com to usb cable on it a while a go & couldn't get the drivers loaded on to it. She wasn't keen to ask for Admin rights to do that, but to get her back on ebay she may be more interested.

Erm well you can bypass admin by using certain programmes (as i used to do) but being a company laptop you dont know what software is loaded onto it to monitor the pc so thats a no no as i dont want her to get fired from my advice lol.

Best thing to do is find something on the laptop/or internet that she needs to use for her job that requires admin then go to her boss say
"i need to use _____ on the laptop but i'm not admin so can you make me admin so i can effectively do my job"
Tell her to make it sound like she needs admin otherwise she cant do her job
and all being well she'll be admin leading to her having an ebay account again

I only know this much as i tried it with my work before lol

Kind regards,

None of the above.

Get yourself a cheap (even second hand) laptop and use it for stealth purposes.
If you are selling stuff you will be able to cover the expense in short or long time but you will.

You could also use it for your personal and family needs.

Better use "tools" that you can fully control.

She never made anything like enough to cover even a second hand laptop. I guess she will have to use my PC assuming she can't get admin rights on her laptop.

She has got a new iphone 5 that hasn't ever had any of the old stuff loaded up on it. I guess that could work for casual use?

Recommended using your own personal laptop for this.

I have used a company laptop in the past- cant install anything without admin rights...plus if computer gets pulled back in/exchanged/etc, then it's annoying to have to restart on a diff computer
