Can you even ask to get the 30 day limit removed?

Im sure most of us are familiar with the 30 day selling limit on certain items
I got the same message on one of my older accounts, but back then you had the link for the email address/ebay department which you could email and ask to have the limit removed

Now when I get that message it doesnt even say that I can contact ebay to try to get the limit removed

Anyone successfully remove the limit recently?

pinkharo 11-06-2008 01:42 AM

I guess I will jump in on this one. Not many will try to contact ebay to get the limit removed because it's just a waste of time. Build your feedback and reputation so that the limit removes itself (buy a little sell a little). That is the long term game.

Good luck

buy a little sell a little seems gd to counter the limit. anyone know abt a raw guideline of abt when the limit is lift at how many feedback? theres seems to be no published guideline of how this $%#@$ thing works.

and when the limit is lift how many would u possible to list for that particular brand per day before getting another 30 days?

how old is your ebay account?

ba61590 11-06-2008 01:37 PM

My account is 3 years old....
I hate ebay

We all do but we need this retard site to make some appropriate income for us. There are no substitution yet for this. eBid requires that you sell in the same country you are located in - no cross-selling which is absolutely appalling. They don't consider; better prices = more customers = more $$$ for them. duh

do not understand you at all, selling limited = unable to list any item, how to sell a little?
agree with you, contact them just waste the time.hm hm hm
@ba61590 : you mean ebay removed your selling limit automatically after 30 days. can I ask why did you got selling limit?
today I'm being at 20th day of selling limit.
 ebay no response to me (sent 4 emails), get hopeless and I'm ready for a new account.

pinkharo 11-07-2008 04:23 PM

Selling limit applies to certain items, you get selling limits when your account is either new, low activity or has low feedbacks for selling those items. But I have heard a few with high feedbacks getting the limit. You not only need more feedbacks but also build up your reputation with more transactions. This limit is usually for items with high chance of being a counterfeit or bootleg.

iamme 11-09-2008 05:33 AM

yes. Im a kind of high feedback got restricted selling
and can I ask?
now I used other account and listing about 20 items, it's no problem, and ebay also knew this account of mine since I've linked my paypal account to. I've added from so long ago. the problem here I use other ip (at a net room near my home), now I want to log in by my old ip (used for old restricted selling account), Can I do that? is there a problem? does ebay give me a restricted selling again?

pinkharo 11-09-2008 04:12 PM

In this case I would try and separate them as much as possible to lower the risk. You should always log in with different ips since if something were to happen at lease you have one thing less to worry about being linked.

good luck

Do you actually have to wait 30 days for the limit to be removed? I can't believe this! I'm going to miss X'mas!!
