Default What Does This 'Really' Mean?

My wife has received this message from ebay, in relation to my account.

When she received this she had a fixed price auction running, with 2 days left of a 3 day auction, the auction is still running;

Your eBay account has been restricted

Account Restriction
Hello Chloe

It looks like your c*****1 account is associated with another account, a*****v, which is currently restricted on eBay. As a result, we’ve restricted the c*****1 account until you can resolve our concerns.

Be sure to sign in with c******1. That will make it easier for us to help you out.

Thanks,

We hope to hear from you soon.

Her selling page states she has 0 left to sell this month, original number of items advertised in auction was 23 @ £26 (her Feedback is 47 @ 100%)

It means she has been linked to another eBay account and restricted

Is there someone else in the house who has an eBay account?

Yes me.

But does it mean she cannot list anything more for sale for this month etc or like my message from eBay, which actually states I can no longer sell at all?

Whether or not she will be reinstated depends on her answers to eBay and also on the reason that your account was banned.

If your account was banned for what they consider a severe violation - like selling counterfeits or illegal items, or trying to defraud people, then there is a zero chance of your wife's account being reinstated, even if it was squeaky clean.

If your account went down for performance issues or low DSR's and hers is OK, then she has a better chance of being reinstated. Not a 100% chance, please understand, but a chance.

What it means, is start making stealth accounts, because I would say from my experience, 1 in 10 accounts get re-instated.

If ebay UK think the wife's account was made to circumvent limits, they may not be too receptive.

You need to a) make new stealth accounts b) same for wife c) no linking between them - operate independently.

It means that you may be starting to study to learn how to make stealth accounts.
