What does it take to get suspended?
 

I'm selling a few Vero items that are knockoff and just wondering if someone could get my account suspended along with the others that are linked to it. If they complained to ebay they were knockoff, could I get suspended. How long do they last?

yes, and soon. you have your competitors to thank for that.

why are you selling knockoffs anyway? if you didnt sell knockoffs you wouldnt have anything to worry about

Why are you knocking what someone is selling. 90% of the people here probably sell VERO items in 1 form or another.
That should be irrelevant to you. This forum is about the ability to sell on eBay and stay selling on eBay.
You are making it sound like "Seller Central". Next you will want the threads censored when someone mentions Amazon.

You will only get suspended if you are not smart about what & how your are selling. They're ways around a lot of things. ;)

I'm mostly selling cloths and shoes made $350 this week, not to bad. But anyway, so if someone got pissed I know they could file a dispute, so i'm depleting my Paypal everytime I get money putting it into my bank account. But how would I get around them trying to get my account suspended on ebay

I know for sure they are going to ask you for supplier info. Where you got the items from. I hear some people send ⊗⊗⊗⊗ invoices from warehouses because they dont call suppliers. Probably need to sell small and do it from a backup account.

And, just because you took the funds out your paypal account doenst mean you are 100% safe. Paypal can still take money from your bank account whenever they want.

Not exactly, you have the power to freeze your bank account and not to allow paypal to withdraw any funds due to services not received.

Depends what the customer does. I mean if they open up a paypal dispute, just have them return the item and issue them a refund and the dispute will automatically close. Agree that you will still leave them positive feedback and you ask that they do the same for you for good/prompt customer service. Tell them you value your business and serving your customers, etc. Communication is key!

Thanks aking, didnt know you could do that. I've heard of paypal clearing out peoples bank accounts and holding their money for 180 days. Might try that if I run into that snag.

Around 1 or 2 out of 10 will know its ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and request a refund. You can refund them like aking said. Communication is the key, be apologetic and they dont leave negative feedback. Thank them for their time and patience. Then sell it again. Might be a good idea to do a private auction, so people cant see who bought from you. Some people who you refunded will go the extra mile and contact your buyers telling them its ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

Are you talking about people contacting bidders or past buyers? I thought ebay had a universal anynomous buyer thing set up where you cannot see who the bidders are or the past buyers? Plus I dont think ebay will let allow you to contact someone unless you are involved in a transaction with that person. I could be wrong...Anyone?

I'm on a roll today! On a serious note though, you can get suspended. Contrary to what Brandon1984 said, even selling real authentic merchandise, your still bound to get your stuff booted. You'll win some and you'll lose some. You may try contacting Modee and seeing if he can help you list and keep VeRO items up. I think (not sure though) that he has some experience with that field.

^^^^ That's so true, all it takes is another ebay member complaining or making up some false accusation.

I bought some nikes and didnt realize they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗ until about a week ago. The shoes started hurting and are falling apart. Gotme! Live and learn....they looked new! Haha. I bet that seller is gone though...
