Had to share my success with everyone
 

Created a new stealth account and after just a few hours or browsing, it was limited to 0/0. I called in to ask wtf and they said that they needed to verify some information from the public database.

I said ok. She then proceeded to tell me that she couldn't find me in the public database (of course not, I'm not a real person) and that I would have to send in documentation verifying my identity.

I decided to get on -- and work up a pretty -- that I then roughed up and uploaded to the provided link.

This was all done last night. Tonight, about 20 hours later, I get the following email:

BOOM! I'm so stoked. Now to try this on the other 3 new accounts that all received the same 0/0 limit.

I did read above. He uploaded Id that's it.

So all of a sudden ebay lets u sell 100 things a month on a new account

They are nice limits to get on a new account, and it's not typical for every account, most times u will send in ID/documentation and either get it rejected or maybe 25/$1500 limits if the rep viewing the documents clears them and is having a nice day

But 100/$5000 with no public information, that was very generous especially this time of year

I had my ebay stealth for 1 month, i could sell 600£ per month. My cheapest item was £390.00. i called ebay spoke and flirted with some irish guy, acted dumb and bang he raised my limit to 3.500£ per month there and then. Trouble is now i cant draw it out of Paypal until i send id. Am sending in stealth id to raise the limit so fingers crossed. Oh and the irish guy said if i get 10 good feed back i can raise the limit to 12.5k per month. i love that guy already.

eBay has been alittle easy on the selling limits.

The big obstacle is PayPal.

When you hit the limit, the eBay selling limits means nothing at all.

Why cant you withdrawal it from PP?? Have you already exceeded the 1800 receiving limits

A lot of confusion on this post and I have some, too. It keeps getting asked how he verified information, such as sending in an ID for a person that doesn't exist. People are saying to read the post or the Stealth Guide, but neither of those things mention this. This is the confusing part-

Not sure if it was mistyped or what, but the words in this order make no sense to me lol.

Is there a way to "get on and work up a pretty, then rough up"? WHat does this mean?


The question is, how do you provide ID and other documentation for a person that doesn't exist.

What I meant is.

eBay selling limits would be useless if can't by pass the PayPal limits.
Yes they are ways to remove this but with third party verification this is becoming difficult.

I don't have any issues paypal. I just rotate the accounts about.

What type of documentation did you provide - just photo ID? How long did it take to make?

The op was being creative. Ebay was probably busy and lazy. Since most move on and not upload docs ebay bought it. Busy time 12-15 Xmas accounts.

If your life depended on it could you not send in a picture of your id with altered name and address?
There are programs that help you do these things.. It is not easy and takes some time but its doable ;)

If someone in this forum mastered these programs and was allowed to help others with these documents I'm sure he would make a killing.

You can make anything. It does take skills with photo editing programs. Knock on wood but the last time I had trouble with my accounts in 08-09 this was pretty easy to do if knew somebody. I don't know the extent now eBay can check public records but I have always had a policy of starting stealth accounts in College towns and listing things like I am a teenager/early 20's struggling for money with my items. Explains the public data base, etc.
