Ebay refused to increase limit

I created an account a few weeks ago and was hit with a MC999 right away. Called in and was given a $10,000 limit. Just last week, I decided to create another account and start selling TODAY. Didn't get a MC999 but was stuck with a $500/mo limit. Called in and they completely turned me down and insist that I wait 30 days. Is this how it is for most of you guys or is it because of the season? Some is better than nothing, but I currently only allow to list 5 items and I won't be able to get anywhere near $100 for them. >.<

most reps will either require you to be a business seller or be a private seller for at least 30 days before you can get an increase.

Can't have your cake and eat it too always.....Best to let limits grow naturally instead of calling and attracting attention to the account.

Yes, but I am currently out of town for a month and I am stuck with only 1 ip address. But as noted by others, leaving it to age slowly seems like a good idea. :thumb:

With ebay some you win most you lose. Just the way it is. And yes you got real lucky on that first account so thank your lucky stars - at least you have a decent account to work with right now.
