Disaster Waiting To Happen?.....
 

About 10 years ago I was suspended from eBay and PayPal and subsequently tried to open up a number of new accounts but all got linked. (Didn't know about stealth back then!)

Any way 10 years on I thought I would try to create a new account using my real info and I have had the account live now without any problems for the best part of 6 weeks. Is this just a disaster waiting to happen or do eBay purge outdated details after a certain period of time?

Create some stealth account. if the hammer falls, you have backups :thumb:

I would not assume any purging of info OP. Stealth works well for your purpose - read and apply. Welcome to the forums - make a few accounts :)

As icarletto said....your sitting on a time bomb.
Could be tomorrow, could be in a couple of months...but eithrr way they will figure it out soon.
Stealth is the best and only solution :-)

When you say you used your real info - do you mean you used the EXACT same info that used before?
In other words - did you move - meaning the address and phone number are different?
If the only similar detail is the name then you might be ok.
The question remains though - why not do things stealth if youre already familiar with the facts and the way ebay/paypal operate? why not just do things stealth from the get-go?

My friend, you are on a creaky bridge.....I'm wondering why you didn't just go stealth so you have no worries, unless you just like looking over your shoulder?....the excitement factor and all! lol.
