Crucial situation need a little help on how to play this one
 

So I recently have been have a few stealth accounts going and have been starting off slow with these and it seems to be going good slow and steady. But my sister has recently offers to let me use her account and she said she doesn't care if she was to get suspended as long as I have her another account because she sells only 6 or 7 items a year. She has been living in Nebraska for the last few years and I live in New York. So I look into her account and hers is from back around 2006 area about where mine was from no limits nothing, but the original address is the same as my account that got suspended. When I lost something it says it is being shipped from Nebraska. She does have a PayPal but is not linked for shipping or to pay eBay fees. My question is what should I do to ship? Should I link PayPal to pay as I sell in more of a high volume fashion and should I link to pay eBay fees.? I'm stuck on this as how to play this one in general and would like to try and ride this account of it's possible? Thanks everyone in advance for reason

She doesnt mind getting suspended as long as you get her another account??
So why not leave her account alone and make the ""another""account your own?

I do not use family's info when making accounts but The reason in this situation is she has an established aged account that has no limits that did not get suspended.Much of my selling is dependent on high volume sales where I make about 4-5 dollars a sale. she barely sells on eBay so she is not concerned of this account goes under. I do not sell high risk items either . So is there anyway to make this account survive ?

Established aged accounts can still go down.
My guess is that you want this account.due to not having to slow down with sales and can get cracking on it straight away. I do understand that.
The problem is that you mentioned attaching a paypal to it or something. Makibg changes can trigger a manual review.

Yes but she has a PayPal that she accepts payments and withdraws money from but it is not set up to pay for the shipping or to pay the eBay fees she just uses her credit card. I just didn't know by just adding her personal PayPal that she accepts payments from eBay from to pay for shipping would trigger anything ??

She can simply attach it to make ebay fee payments.
I thought you meant attach a new paypal.
Its up to you but using family info should be avoided. Its ultimately your decision.
Stick around and wait for more replies.
Ive used family info before and it ended in disaster and a family argument and the said person told me in the beginning they wouldnt mind if it got shut down. But when it did, they went mad.
Another time i used family info....a lobg story but ended in disaster :-)

The stealth book is out of date and does advise users to use family info. Bad practise for people to do that, as you know.

Yes thank you for the help halo ! I know the situation is not ideal but it has it's upside if it was able to survive , if anyone else has any experience with a situation like this that would be awesome too.

Not to sound like a broken record...but it's probably going to end bad.......you've got a 8 year old eBay account that has, pretty much, been dormant and now you're planning on turbo charging it and sell mass quantities.......ebay is probably gonna take a close look at that.....make 1, 10 or 50 of your own stealth accounts and spread your sales out.......in 90 days, when they all have limits raised and no holds, you'll be loving life!

No seriously, let the account go.

If it were stealth, then you could have a shot at it.
She may not mind it now but if the creditors start hounding her for fees owed when the account goes down, it would cause a major rift.

Its tempting, I know, but you may already have been linked and the new flurry of activity will just bring more unwanted heat onto the account.

you already got accounts going for yourself, don't include your sister's account in getting suspended.

Apparantly sister doesnt mind if it gets suspended :faint:
But bizarrely she doesnt mind as long as he can get her ""another"" account. That defeats the object in my opinion. Make the ""another"" account stealth and leave sisters alone.

Thanks for the responses everyone. If the account went down it would not be that big of a deal she really does not care . It is one of the scenarios that is if the account is there to use how could you go about it kind of situation.nothing that would be on there would be high risk it's just a fairly high volume . But I take it that it will end bad regardless , it's just I know inhave read some scenarios where people saidng they have used family members with success.

You read where?, here? Listen.....obviously you have full intention in using your sisters account no matter what we say, so with that being said.....do what you want to do.

If you use your sisters account and it goes down. Not only May you have the debt collectors and IRS after her etc.. You will have also tarnished HER name, date of birth and address with ebay. So she will not be able to buy or sell with HER SAME details ever again.. Are you sure you have made her all aware of this???

Good. That's a great start. I wish you luck as you increase your limits.

That's naive of your sister considering letting you lose an account in her real details. What would you do about giving her a replacement should you get this suspended. What info is going to be used then? What are you doing to keep on getting accounts suspended? That needs to be addressed. Now we have major issues. You can not expect to crank up an older account out of nowhere. If that account has little to no acitvity as you say, there is a risk of getting MC999. That means a review & the account being looked at closely. first thing they will find is a link to your old suspended account. Not good at all.

How did you access the account to check over the details? If you used the same IP as one of your stealth accounts, you have made a link. That may or may not mean ( more) issues.
Lot of flags here and the idea is flawed.

Avoid using her paypal too. What about taxes? I get you like the concept. It's been tried and when it failed, it ruined families.

Try to consider doing your own thing. Leave your sister be.

I use a tether from my phone to access her accounts resetting ip each time and have made a fresh user name for viewing her account as well as with every single one of my stealth accounts ( 3 so far). Also she does sell on the account periodically throughout the year I think she has about 50 feedback total . and about 300-400 in sales this year. So it's not as though the account is completely dormant.

Thinking about just scrapping the whole idea after hearing all of your thoughts
But can't lie it is tempting.

Your opening post says that your sister only sold 6 or 7 things a year.
This is why i agree with pokerpro in that an account operating like that is going to have attention drawn to it, if you are goibg to rack up loads of sales on it. In ebay and paypals eyes, that is nothing short of"" unusual activity ""and is likely to result in some sort of limitation.
I just think its a bad move thats all :-)
