How you handle location?
 

Read the Stealth book, have taken the past few weeks to get up and running again. How do you handle your listing location? I don't want any similarities in my listings to my old accounts. Used to use Auctiva, now am using Vendio, changed my descriptions, rearranged my titles, etc.

In the past, I always listed my location as Ohio, USA. My concern is that my items are somewhat recognizable and I think by listing Ohio again it could tip people off.

Do you it would be a good idea to change the location to something like "Great Lakes, USA"?

Use a state away.

Or if you track your shipments, find where all of them go first. A hub of sort. And use that location

Thanks . My only concern is that I use my "new" legit address (UPS Store Box) for my return address and our nearest UPS hub in also in Ohio. Any other ideas on how I can word this? I don't care if customers know where we are located at after they buy, but I don't want my past customers (all blocked now) figuring out it is me.

I've seen people say "The lovliest State in the USA" All kinds of things. I don't say my state....ever even when my accounts were up and running for years. They never really have to see your address until item is paid anyway right? Unless you accept MO and by then it's a done deal too....."Alittle slice of heaven USA"!!!????

OH I just noticed I said my location here!!! Best change that!

I would normally change that to something else other then a location or just change it so that it will say Canada or USA in your case. Reduces a lot of unnecessary confusions if the addy is actually ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

You could once upon a time create bulk UPS accounts without any Credit card or verification of sort. Then you could run the bill up using next day air early AM all you wanted and ditch the account.

You still can do this. Just a little more work to do. I dont recommend it though.
