MC113 (instantly banned)

Hello. When I list vero item with ebay account which has 0 seller feedback I am getting instant MC113(suspended), but when I list with account which has about 3 seller feedbacks it goes great and no mc113. Could somebody explain why?

You are probably creating the account and listing straight away.
Where as the one with the 3 purchases has browsing history on ebay.

Vero item? Seems like you are asking how best to sell it?

Bunneh is right for the most part

OP When you buy something on ebay, you search ebay for an item, this makes a browsing history on your computer and when you just open a new ebay aco**** and list straight away it doesnt, so it looks suspicious to ebay and you get closed.

Re: MC113 (instantly banned)

So there is a reason why I sometimes get MC113 (suspending) after the first item is listed (dress, shoes or something else). I have never made any browsing history before list first (non vero) item.

Am I right?

Thanks :)

Yes, you need to browse ebay and add things to watch etc.. before listing anything.

You want ebay to think you are a completely new ebay seller, show some signs of being unsure to how to do things and browsing around other listings is a good way to appear to be a new person finding out how to sell on the platform of ebay, and you get some browsing history as well

New here so please forgive my ignorants. I'm curious what an VeRO is. It seems like it's big deal...

VeRO is eBay's Verified Rights Owner program. It allows companies to register with eBay as the owners of their copyrights and trademarks and gives them the ability to have listings removed which they believe infringe on those rights - usually when they find what they believe to be counterfeit items.

Hot brand names can be difficult to sell on eBay, depending on the brand owner. Some will allow sales and others will not.

Even if your items are legitimate, you will have a hard time selling some of them. Examples would be things like Rolex watches, new releases and box sets of DVD's, TV advertised fitness programs like Beachbody and the P90X, designer purses, Apple electronics and others.

When someone says they are listing a VERO item, it does not necessarily mean it is counterfeit, they are just saying it is one of the brand names where the owners regularly comb through the listings and make life difficult for sellers.

VERO items should not be sold on new accounts - it is better to build up some trust first. And you must be CAREFUL when listing these items even on an established account, because you could lose it if the VERO member or your customers complain that you are selling counterfeits.

It is unfortunate that it has come to this, but eBay and Amazon had been overrun with counterfeit merchandise. This is how eBay is responding to the issue. Amazon requires pre-approval to sell in many categories, such as apparel and recently began requiring approval to sell any DVD's with a list price of more than $25, which covers most new releases and box sets.

These actions are understandable, but it DOES make life difficult for honest sellers of such items, which is why it always seems to come up on the forums.
