My account is good with ebay or which I thought it was.Wanted to sell something on ebay last night wouldn't let me.So its ok for me to buy on ebay but not sell anymore???

Judging by him saying "anymore", I would assume he has sold before. Sounds like he hit category limit.

It said 0 limits an 0 sells for the month.The reason for it bad feed back on seller ratings.

If an account is not being run OK, ebay removes the selling rights. They do let the user continue to buy.

He just answered it here. Selling is a privilege, not a right. You break the rules, you pay the price.

You should have received an email message from ebay telling you the selling privileges for your account have been removed.
With the new policies they introduced last summer you must stay in good standing if you wish to continue selling. Too many defects and you will lose those privileges.

Since when has selling via ebay/PayPal been a privilege? Seriously, the way they treat people who are operating their accounts either real or stealth, is ridiculous, and as for the number of times when they ban people for no genuine reason, I know things are different over there across the pond, but really!

@Rosie: "privilege" doesn't necessarily mean "beneficial" or "pleasant," it just means that it's not a right and thus can be taken away from you lawfully, either at will or for cause.

If you were being funny, I apologize. I only wrote this because I just a few days ago had a friend who didn't realize that a privilege wasn't necessarily "good" or whatever, and the conversation was fresh in my mind. Sorry ahead of time if I misunderstood.

The reason why I got kicked of ebay. I was selling replica oakley sunglasses an beats by dre headphones.Yea I know I did wrong an should of been kicked off ,but to be banned for life.I just think ebay shouldn't banned people for life (depending what they did) of course.But it happen I learned from it.An its time to move on to a stealth account thats why I am here an purchase the book.

selling counterfeit could land you in jail...it would also affect their reputation. if you were the owner of ebay, i'm sure you would also do the same.
