MC999 Listing policy violation alert: Copyright Violation on sold items

When I got this message I expected to see all my live listings taken down, but it wasn't it was items I had already sold and been paid for.

There was 10 sold items all the same, 5 of these got the MC999 the other 5 sold items were left alone, and my live current items are still for sale.

I went to look though if I could find the live items but I could not see them listed when I typed in a search (like a buyer would do)

I find this odd to leave 5 listings that were the same not get an MC999 and to let me keep selling, just worried about them not showing up

Has this ever happened to you, and do you think it is best for me to cancel the current sales just to be safe ?

I would worry more about getting ANOTHER policy violation, rather than it showing up

Perhaps its a good idea to stop listing such items :ban?:

I'd cancel all listings and let the account sit for a while honestly.

Good accounts are hard to groom. I'm sure you have back ups, correct?

Unfortunately, this kind of thing as unfair as they are I find that you just can't stop them or prevent them from happening.
Just like Craigslist, you can flag a listing just because and it'll get taken down despite how legit a product is.

Update

Everything is OK I left the remaining 2 items on and they showed eventually, and both sold today.

I may give this account a break now for a while.
