1st Ebay account working, 2nd account removed on the same IP address
 

Hi everyone!
I am new to this forum. I have already purchased and read through EbayStealth and would like to say that you guys are awesome ! ! !
I am a fairly young seller, roughly 2 years experience. My main ebay account is from 2009 and I have 100% feedback with 300 transactions and I am a power seller & top rated. The majority of my merchandise consists of pre-owned high designers clothes. I sell only authentic clothes but without a receipt because I buy them from rich people that give them away for penny's :)

Here's my concern/question any advise will be much appreciated:

60 days ago I had my selling privileges taken away for 7 days then for 30 days because my employee misspelled a branded item in the title which caused ebay to think that the item I was selling was not authentic, even thou the pictures (taken personally by me) and the description in the listing had the correct spelling. This happened twice within one week spam. No matter how many times I spoke with ebay and explained to them what happened they wouldn't do anything, NOT A SURPRISE )! So, I decided to help myself out :)

During the 30 day suspension period, I opened 2 new accounts with the same phone number, IP address, & mailing address (big mistake), just different ebay name & paypal as my previous account that has been suspended for 30 days. To my surprise, everything was working fine, I was back on track selling while waiting for the 30 days suspension. After the 30 days suspension, I got my old account reinstated, and was selling on both accounts. However, my aged account was banned indefinitely from selling high end brands. I can still sell at any other category except the one I need the most.

60 days has passed since my last violation, so I decided to list a pre-owned Chanel purse on my 3rd account (that had the same IP address, phone number, and mailing address, just different ebay & paypal name) and was almost immediately suspended from selling privileges on two of my new ebay accounts. The tricky part here is: My primary account, the one I have been using since 2009 is still up and running and I can continue to list new items, even thou all 3 accounts had the same mailing address, IP address, phone number, I just used new names to make new accounts. I am quite surprised and definitely skeptical why ebay did not notice that old account or has decided to leave at alone.

My questions are:


At the moment, Ebay allows me to re-list most of the listings that were removed from my new accounts in my aged account. But, I feel that it's just a matter of time for them to realize that they forgot about my aged account, since they can easily link it to the other ones since I used the same IP address, phone number, & mailing address. Should I change my IP address and phone number on the working account so that they can't see it? Or, will that raise a red flag and they will further investigate why the number changed & IP address?

You have linked all your accounts any using so many of the same details as you have pointed out yourself! Even power sellers have lost lost their top rated accounts for doing less than you have here!

Start again, by reading around this forum and picking up the latest tips, so much easier for you over in the US as well, you can buy ready made accounts from this forum with mega high limits on them and you have many more banks as well that accept stealth details. Make sure you have a good working knowledge of stealth and how to operate it and then you should be able to get back selling in no time!

Well on ebay you are allowed to have more than one account.
However you are not allowed to sell the same items on all the accounts.

The reason you got suspended on your new account is because the brands you are selling are HIGH RISK items, especially on a new account, which is why you got suspended.

If you have 2 policy violations on the aged account, i would wait until your original aged account cools down before listing any more VERO items, or your account can get PERMANENTLY suspended as listings get removed for a reason.

What MC notices did you get on your account?

I think your accounts are all on borrowed time......I would make some new stealth accounts the correct way, meaning all new different everything.....

You're probably going to need them soon.......so why wait.........and if by some miracle you don't HAVE to have them, you have then anyway.....

There is no down side to having more accounts laying around than you need at any exact moment.

All accounts are linked at this point but perhaps try and use different ip from now on and hope for the best, may be able to pull it off if your lucky

In the future recommend looking into VMWARE and make sure all ips are different

Welcome to the forums. The accounts may last but links exist - you need to setup stealth accounts pronto.

You are already linked, so it is only a matter of time before you get suspended.

How should I go about with this?

My primary & aged account that has real information is still working, and I am allow to sell on it. However, I been restricted in what I am allowed to list, which is a major no! no! for my business.

I want to open a few stealth accounts. But, my major concern is with changing the current IP address. Once you change the IP address on your modem, can you get the same IP address back? Since, my aged account is still working I don't want to keep log in/out with different IP addresses and make ebay suspicious.

I was also thinking about buying a few cable modems for Comcast and have them switch every time I need to log into a different account. Will that work?

My other problem is: I have 2 other computers, satellite TV, and phone (Vonage) running in my house under one internet connection. How would that cause problems? Should I just get a second internet provider in my house? or switching modems would be enough to go stealth?

Don't need to worry about getting IP address back per say...just make sure IPs don't overlap in my experience

I suggest you use a separate VPS server for every stealth you run - it will guarantee that it will have a separate and fixed IP address. Moreover, it will guarantee that one day you will not forget to connect to the VPN and ruin your account by getting linked on IP basis.
