I just received a mc010 with 48hrs to call in. I've not received an ebay suspensions before and was wondering if there's any advice on how to proceed? Does this mean the PayPal will soon be limited too? I'm not sure what triggered this but I could love to save the account if possible. Please help!

Paypal may not be limited - not always the case.

You have to call in and be prepared for questions...with possible request for ID

Rsot, hi and thanks, I've been reading previous threads about possible questions, thing is this is completely a stealth account, except for my surname which is common enough, all the info is made up, I'm not sure what questions they could have to ask me. I wouldn't come up in any records. I had actually just come up to my 90days, 25 transactions, $250- so holds were about to be removed, could that have been a trigger? Any help greatly appreciated.

So thought I'd update on what happened I case the info is of benefit to any other members.
I rang ebay this morning and said my account had been restricted what do I need to do. I had all my info ready with me just in case. The rep told me that this was an account verification because I had not linked my ebay and PayPal. When I created this account this option was given but as it wasn't required I did not do it. I was told once I completed the link now over the phone the account would be released. So it seems it's not so optional after all. This account has been up for a few months now, reasonable sales of women's accessories nothing risky all low price items. The rep did ask me to confirm I had the products in my possession and that they were brand new. That was it. On a side note I did call with the registered number also. The rep then reinstated my account.

I do have one question for anyone out there who may know, they credited all my final value fees and removed my listings even completed ones when the restriction occurred now that I have been reinstated my sold items are still missing and my account is still not showing any fees owing for sales, will this change? I feel uneasy not having my sales listed. Any info would be great. Thanks

Resinstatement? Nice :thumb:

Listings are removed so there are no fees...fees won't occur until you make new sales from what I have read based on what you told the forum

The original issue was I had my account restricted with an email saying I had 48hrs to contact or my account would be suspended. Upon calling the only info they wanted was for me to link my PayPal to my ebay and they also asked a few simple questions about the items such as did I have the items in my possession. The account was then reinstated. I ended up calling them back because my info still wasn't coming up but it's now fixed.
