Not Suspended YET !!! Complicated situation.
Background. My husbands ebay account was suspended a long time ago (06). My Paypal account was killed in the same timeframe.
Current situation. My mother lived with us for 3 years (she just moved out a few months ago). The ebay and PP account are in her name, with the address being our address. IP address is different than what was used in the past, and her name is different from ours. I have taken care of both accounts, as we sell items together, or she sells some (I do all of the pics and listings), or I sell my items. 100% feedback with over 350 feedback over the course of a few years. Very few issues, and all were resolved. No PP problems.
Problem is, she is now doing a personal BK. The bank account linked to PP has to be closed, or it can threated her BK. We do not know if we should even keep the PP account due to the BK. She no longer lives with us, but has not changed any address's on EB or PP.
I want to keep the EB account due to the great, hard earned FB. So, my questions are: Can I link a bank account (savings or checking) that is in my name to the PP account without causing problems?? Should we just close the PP account due to my mothers BK, and open a Stealth PP account?? I do have a PP account for my husband, due to his Bill me Later account, that has been used for nothing and is fully verified, but I hesitate to do anything with that due to linking.
Basically, I don't know how to handle this correctly, and I don't want to screw it up. She has been logging into EB and e-mails go to her e-mail address, but she does nothing with PP at all, as I handle it all. Will her having a different IP address than mine cause issues also??
It is just a mess, and any help you can give would be fantastic. I would like to do this right the first time. From the past, I know what a nightmare EB and PP can be.
