Hi new to forum lot of great info here

I was a power seller had two accounts one with 45k feedback another with 30k both were suspended.

I currently have another account up with about 2k feedback and i selling well right now. i want a back up so working on a way to go about doing that. paypal is obviously the trick to make sure everything can be verified. I am in it for the long run dont want to always be creating new accounts

Heres the questions
I opened my first account 3 years ago with home address. within 6 months opened a dba and moved into warehouse changed all the ebay and paypal info over to those details. that account was suspended. So all that info is flagged.

the other day my wife opened an account to do some christmas shopping. She used the original home address for ebay with her name and then opened paypal with her ssn and again real home info.

She has purchased about 10-12 items on ebay and received positive feedback. i was wondering when she is done xmas shopping what are the chances of using that account for a selling account. Does ebay still have the original address on record even through it hasent been used for 2-3 years. Wondering if as soon as i start selling it will be suspended. Was thinking about selling 2-3 items per day real slow and building it up

You will probably get suspended after the first week or so of selling, might even be sooner than that. But yes it will get linked to your suspended accounts. Sorry :(

its possible and i know they investigate more when you start selling but usually the suspension happens within the first 24 hours

Before I came to this site when I got suspended and made a new account using almost all the same info, used the same ip address, same cookies as the suspended account, It took them almost exactly a month to link the two accounts. So 24 hours? I don't know about that...

It will get booted, and yes, they have your original information even though it was changed back when. You might get lucky and have it last (as I've had this happen before when I used to use real info), but I wouldn't count on it...

You didn't explain why your accounts were suspended, which is important in finding you a solution. Did PayPal cause the suspension (and why) or did ebay (and why)? Be honest, because otherwise, no one's going to be able to help you. I'm assuming it's because you had bad credit or maybe too many disputes, but let me know, because I was a platinum Powerseller and I'm learning from my mistakes to get myself back into the mix as well.

What would bad credit have anything to do with getting suspended?
