eBay link through "ship from address"?
 

So my own account was suspended.. and now I am using my friends account to sell a few items..

The thing that worried me is I put in my old address(suspended one) in the "ship from" address section when printing the shipping label. I been using that for 2 days.. and I sold around 20 items with that "ship from" address.. I immediately took ot off from the account today.. Do you think eBay can link the accounts through ship from address? All the other informations are completely different.. Thanks

eB COULD link through the ship address - will the account go down because of this? Only time will tell but the link COULD be easily done.

Recommendation is to stop using his account, learn stealth, and create your own accounts...or buy account from sellers here

One of the biggest rules of stealth is to use all new information with each stealth account. At least when you're on eBay/Paypal's sites.

If you want to use an old address, you should look into services such as Stamps.com where you can print labels off of eBay and put your home address on the return address section without eBay/Paypal ever knowing.

I would definitely start building up a new account as rsot said. No one can say for sure if/when that account can go down, so it's best to be prepared so you won't be in a bad situations one day.

All the information is different, I was only using his account while I was at his house..

Is there a bIG chance to get linked through ship from address? It's not primary ship from address NOR the registered address..

Had anyone had similar situation and got their acct linked or theIR acct is still fine?

Yes you can definitely be linked by using an address from a suspended account.

Once you enter information into eBay/PayPal that data is recorded and can cause links


If your ship from address was the same used from another account that was suspended than there is a high possibility that there is a link

Addresses through my experience is one piece of information that is a big factor in cresting a strong Link

All other information alone without other similarities can sometimes slide, like your name, but Addresses are Blacklisted

The only thing you can do is delete it and just hope it doesn't come back and bite you. Sometimes these things don't form a link until months later and when everything is going well u will get an email saying you were linked to Account X

So don't get to comfortable, meaning don't leave funds piling up in PayPal , just leave enough for fees and maybe one refund

And create another account to back that up and start growing it , just in case this goes down

YES, you have caused a possible link.....will they shut down your account tomorrow, next week, next month, never....no one knows......but you have created that possibility.......big no-no........stealth is ALL new......not some, or most new....
