Newbie question..My Paypal is fine but EBay restricted...

I know I have to get a new stealth E bay account, and appreciate
all the info. on that.

Question though, a lot of posts seem to be stealthers that have had
problems with both E Bay & PayPal. I do not. Only with EBay,
well as of right now. (only restricted now for 4 days from E Bay)
My PayPal has been fine.

Anyway, is it feasible to open a stealth E Bay and keep using my
current PayPal. I would update my current PayPal with the new E Mail &
address created for stealth E Bay acct.?

It may be a stupid question, but it is getting late, and I have been reading all
sorts of info. and racking my brain to just have all this stuff make sense.

Thank you,

I would suggest 1 Ebay to 1 Paypal, It would be best to open new Stealth Accounts that are completely different from your original account(s).

When you start adding a 2nd, 3rd Ebay to 1 Paypal it can get extremely complicated and most of the time it creates chaos. Avoid the chaos.

Re: Newbie question..My Paypal is fine but EBay restricted...

I guess I am just trying to simplify this craziness.

I am not a big time seller. My high was $2000.00/month, just for
extra cash, ya know. Been selling for 2.5 years.

I work from home with my kids using the household
computer. I can handle the IP issue, new user, new address.
I'm just thinking is E Bay really going to worry about a small
fish getting back on and selling. I am banished for a couple
"without seller resolutions" back in Feb.. because I was stubborn
about refunding for shipping for 2 buyers who didn't read
the listing about clothes sizes.

Anyway, thanks for all the help. I am going to bed now
after I play Easter Bunny for my kids.

That paypal account is a widow......it should;t be attached to any eBay account, ever again....period.

As others have mentioned adding another ebay to the paypal would be a temp solution as they would all get banned eventually

best to start completely stealth with new ebay/paypal

Can anyone comment on the complete opposite scenario? (PayPal limited 180 days, eBay is fine) I have a situation with one of my paypals which I feel will result in a 180 hold and suspension. If I unlink the eBay from the PayPal and link it to a fresh PayPal is it still exposed to getting "banner eventually."

If you link a new Paypal....eventually the new Paypal and possibly the Ebay account will go down, it's a matter of risk. As long as your willing to take that risk and accept the consequences of those risk then try it.

You can explore other payment options for the active eB account e.g. Skrill, Paymate, Propay - don't risk adding a new PP
