Restricted account, requesting information
 

so I got my first account that has asked for photo ID, among a few other things. Obviously account is dead now, so my question is should I cash out my PayPal to my bank account and close my bank account after taking cash out?
what about my current ebay fees? will I be able to unlink my bank account without paying them or will I even need to unlink if I just close the account? thanks.

If you fail to provide ID, you will get your money locked for 180 days, and after that you will be allowed to move them to your BA. You will have to pay EB fees with a new CC, as EB won't be able to take moneys from your PP automatically, as it will be locked.

my money is already in the process of being moved to my bank and my paypal isn't limited. I got this message from ebay not PayPal. why would I want to pay ebay fees under a stealth account that is locked for good?

You just didn't mention that you're talking about EB account. If you owe them a big sum, you'd better pay, as they can find you, if the reward is nice ;)

well it's posted in ebay suspensions so I figured that was a given lol. but yeah nothing limited on my paypal as of now. I left enough in there to cover the next fee amount which is $130, but at the end of the month another $250 is supposed to come out. I figure close the bank account before that happens

It is advised to pay the fees. As noone knows what debt threshold will trigger a real-world hunt for you. As technically they can trace you, only the price matters. Unless you've built up a really paranoid system to hide.

Absolutely true. But my soul won't accept paying them fees, if they steal my money in my another frozen PP.

I would pay the fees asap, and since you don't intend to use this account in future, you may as well close your bank account. It's toasted anyway.

What exactly caused eb to ask for photo ID? Can you tell?

You used their services and allowed you to make more $$ no matter what suspensions/limits you have now - pay them. Simple as that
