Can Anybody Tell Me If

Can anyone tell me if Ebay keeps track of social security numbers or date of birth on suspended sellers? I was suspended several months ago because of one bogus complaint. I have moved to a new address & have a different credit card, but that credit card has my ssn & DOB attached to it. Won't Ebay be able to track that somehow? Or no? I'd appreciate any advice.

Modee is correct, eBay does not ask for this information unless you do ID verify. They can't grab the information from your credit card either.

Hey guys,

Thansk for the info! This helps. I have just one more question.... I know years ago Ebay used to send a verification letter to your home address when you signed up a seller account with them. Is this something they still do? Does paypal do that also?

Twice in the past when I opened new ebay accounts... I got a letter sent to my home.... kind of like a welcome letter...and then at the end of the letter it said "If you did not sign up for an account with us, please contact ____ " This was within the past few years.

I received a few random letters from eBay but only as a promotional thing, nothing about my account.
