What are suggestions for banks to use in the US?

Everybody will have their own preferable choice! But I happen to use Chase Bank there also good for Miss spell names in case you have to get a check from PayPal. Also they have a great mobile app to deposit checks.

Bank of America, Wells Fargo, U.S. bank, PNC, and a lot more. Some have suggested CRedit Unions, you can try and narrow down your question by using the search function on the forum.

And I personally love USAA. Pretty hard to beat no monthly fees, no minimum balance requirements, mismatched name deposits (and business name deposits) are accepted, and excellent customer service. You have to have some sort of military affiliation to get in though.

Although these threads are older, you should be good to go. Suntrust is another.

When you do select a bank, post in the Paypal part of the forum the name of your bank. We'll confirm if it is OK.

No when you open one it just automatically gives you 1 checking and 2 savings or something like that
